I have had this soup for many years and it is best enjoyed in colder weather as a winter warmer or as a hot lunchtime treat when I'm bored of sandwiches and crave something hot.--How to make--Soup from a tin is simple! Simply pour the can into a microwaveable vessel, preferably a bowl! Heat for 2 minutes (depending on the wattage of your microwave - check the instructions for more info on this) then take it out, give it a good stir then pop it back in for a minute. If you have stored your soup in the fridge for freshness, then it will need longer than this to be heated through. However, it is storable for a very long time in any cupboard at room temperature.--How does the tomato compare to others in the range--I have only tried the cream of mushroom soup which I liked the first time I tried it, however the most recent time I tried it, I found it bland and watery and it tasted a bit like milk! Which wasn't that nice! I can only blame this on having mushroom soup of superior qualityAbsolutely brilliant tomato soup, best tomato soup ever in my humble opinion! Prefer it to Heinz mushroom soup, they are great at tomatoey products it seems! I wouldn't choose any other brand for tomato soup unless someone can recommend me a really nice one. I doubt I could make tomato soup better myself so this wins. Easy to make and cheap, a real winner - 5 stars!

Can't ever go wrong with Heinz tomato soup. It's delicious and filling, making it a perfect lunch on a winter's day. A short time in the microwave to heat up and it's ready.It's low fat, low salt and suitable for vegetarians meaning appealing to most. One 400g can was a big bowl of soup.I would recommend and be eating this again

Absolutely love cream of tomato soup from Heinz, it’s quick and easy to heat up and no matter what time of day or year always hits the spot. It’s flavoursome, rich and tastes like no other. It’s great with a little bit of tiger bread and have even added a few things in to it in the past :)Always been great for a quick snack at work or home and as we all know it’s the go-to when we feel a bit under the weather for some reason :-D

MY FAVOURITE SOUP EVER

I have to admit - this is best soup ever!! On the cold days that we have all experienced there is nothing better that coming home from work and the smell of tomato soup is in the kitchen. I have always taken this soup with plain bread - best bread to take it with. My boys even love this soup and enjoy having this for lunch. Definitely one of Heinz classic soup the good old - Cream of Tomato soup.

Still the same taste after all these years

This soup has never really changed over the years, it's still very nice but looking at the ingredients can be a little alarming once you notice the sugar content. Probably been the case for a long time but it really stood out to me. Otherwise yes it is fairly creamy and I am pleased it hasn't changed flavour like much stuff has recently. Value is lacking, this soup is now priced such that I am going to try cheaper alternatives. This is the second best value way of purchasing this soup if you must have it, with the larger multipack working out cheapest per can.

Another thing is that it takes no time at all to heat in a pan or microwave! My 2 children are 4 and 7 who refuse to try soup. But as a quick and easy on the go meal (as well as the fact it’s one of your 5 a day) I add some pasta to it and it gets wolfed down! The best on the market

I grew up with this soup, and it's one of the very few foods that haven't changed in their flavour at all. You know exactly what to expect from Heinz Tomato soup and it never fails to deliver!Heinz tomato soup is the flavour from my childhood - others are nice but this is the original and best comfort food going for a winter's evening with some crusty bread and a dollop of cream swirled on the top. Just simply delicious!

Tomato

Got to try as I'm not much of a soup person but with the cold weather I thought I would give it a go. It's easy to prepare by opening the tin and popping it in a saucepan to heat or you could use a microwave. It smells lovely when warming up on stove. It's a nice rich red colour not thin but not thick. It tastes quite nice but there is a tang but it's not spicy hard to explain. I really did enjoy It. It's very tasty and creamy. I enjoy it that much I'm going to buy more.

Yummy tomato cream soup!

I love this tomato cream soup. It goes so well with bread and cheese. I like a creamy taste so I sometimes add some heavy cream or soy milk to enjoy the rich flavor.This soup is also great for cooking. I sometimes add cooked rice, cheese, and mushrooms to make an easy risotto, or add some veggies and meat and make a pasta dish. It's so easy and yummy!
