I’ve never tried Heinz sauce before and was told today there’s actually a difference between ketchup and tomato sauce (definitely thought they were just USA vs Australian terminology). The last 3 days I have found excuses to use sauce in/on my meals which is weird, I know. This ketchup is absolutely delicious and I’ve probably bored my hubby and work friends with how much I’ve gone on about it lol. Today’s excuse lunch was chips and nugs! 10/10 would recommend.

Overall I was happy with the organic tomato ketchup and especially love that there is no added preservatives, colours or artificial flavours. The thing that I enjoyed the most about this product was the packaging! Bottle is a great size, easy to open and squirt. No mess and no residual ketchup left around the top of the lid. We have been converted in our house hold and will be buying again.

I’ve tried many different tomato ketchup brands over the years, but nothing comes close to the quality and richness of Heinz Tomato Ketchup. It’s great on burgers and chips, but it’s used in so many recipes such has marinate, meats, stews, soups, noodles, dipping sauces, salad dressings and even in Chinese cuisine. The next time you recipe is missing that little bit of something, be sure to reach for this mighty little bottle, it might just surprise you.

Packaging is great. I don’t love that when you squeeze the bottle there is a little delay time from squeezing til the ketchup actually comes out, so it kind of leaves an uneven application of ketchup—a pile followed by the drizzle if it’s going on a bun. It’s fine for squeezing into a bowl or on a plate for dipping. Flavor is just fine, like regular ketchup. Ingredients are fair and you can even go for the one that has less sugar. I would use these to serve condiments at a BBQ for sure.
