Smelling it reveals a depth of seasoning and spice that has been missing from the big commercial producers since forever. Flavourwise is where it really hits its stride as youd hope. The spices hit with a tang and the vinegar base is there without being harsh, a subtle heat lingers with a bit of sweetness but none of the cloying aftertaste of the big brands. Ive tried it with all sorts of foods, chips obviously, chicken, beef, sausages all of them benefit from a complimentary flavour boost that doesnt overwhelm but serves to enhance as any good condiment should. Without a doubt, this is my goto ketchup now and may even be my favourite sauce outside of hot sauces

I can’t stand ketchup at all! It’s sooo nasty! Same with any toppings from Heinz! Like mustard too, and more. I actually use to like ketchup and honey mustard. But now I can’t stand either one! So gross! I can’t stand the smell, way it looks, feels, and whatever, of ketchup! My 6yo daughter loves ketchup and will eat plain spoonfuls of it. I know it’s a popular topping, but it’s definitely NOT something for me and something I’d ever like again!

We love Heinz ketchup on Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, and of course French fries. My husband loves to put ketchup on fish and chips even, I know, it's different 😋. Nothing tastes as good as Heinz, I know we tried others and always end up back with the real thing. I grew up on this stuff as it was made in a factory in the town I was born in, from the tomatoes that were grown locally. Unfortunately a new company let staff go and started making it elsewhere . I'm not even sure if it's still #Canadian anymore even. I refuse to buy any other brand of ketchup for my burgers and fries! I’ve tried French’s, no name, international brands, etc. but I nothing tops the taste of Heinz ketchup! You have they quality of Heinz and the taste can’t be beat. Sure it’s probably 3/4 sugar, but there is always that hint of tang that keeps me coming back! I love the inverted bottle style too, it prevents that gross watery bit that comes out when you give that first squeeze. I will always have this in my fridge!

It's the ONLY ketchup I will buy. Even as a kid, who thought ketchup was for far too many things it's the brand I remember being in the house; in part because my parents figured out that it was the only brand that did not leave me with a month full of ulcers. The taste is pretty impressive. The others to me are too acidic tasting, some too strong. Heinz just seems to be the perfect mix and somehow enhances the taste of whatever you decide to put it on. It does not cost any more than competitors.

Heinz is the only brand that I really like. I don't like the golden tomato. I think that's what it's called. I'm not sure what the difference is in taste-wise. I just know I prefer Heinz. It's something I've always eaten when I go to restaurants and they don't have this brand of ketchup. I can tell the difference. Not always but most the time, I don't know if other people can. This is definitely the brand I prefer 100%. I don't know why I couldn't tell you. Just the taste is so much better to me 🤣🤣😅

Dark Coloration/cooked flavor/exp date 11/2022

Ordered ketchup May 23, 2022 - Order 9857172022, arrived May 25th with expiration date of Nov 23, 2022 and appeared to have been incorrectly stored and suffered heat damage. Appearence of dark colored product with one bottle exhibiting plactic heat stress on bottle neck fron and back. First repeated Heinz product purchased in 3.5 years sold by Sam's Club that was spoiled. It's good stuff (no unhealthy corn syrup) but someone dropped the ball on this one as it has aged inappropriately, dark coloration and tastes of concentrated cooked tomato, not fresh sweet tomato. Truly not up-to-snuff!

Love my Heinz Ketchup

I love ketchup, I put it on most everything I eat. I put it on bread, Grill cheese sandwich, I even dip potato chips in it. Heinz Ketchup is also delicious on a piece of Matzoh, Shh, I also put it in my brown gravy with my brisket I am cooking. It has just enough of spices to give it that yummy taste. The best part is, it come in a three (3) pack. So, if I run out of one, I always have a back up. Price and convenience of having to run to the store again for one bottle. My home is never without a three pack of Ketchup!

Something's wrong

So I love ketchup- All kinds. I've had many an organic variety too and this ketchup was not good. It tasted like burnt sour rancid BBQ gunk. I looked at other reviews and they were all good. So I'm not sure if it was a bad batch or it was rotten- but completely disappointed. I would return it but as soon as I took a bite I checked the expiration date- it's brand new just opened and expires next year- I threw the bottle away. I'll gladly try this again- if Heinz/Target wants to send me another bottle. Thanks!
