Using this as a replacement for a Rab heavy fleece costing 85 , this is warmer and has washed really well , Time will tell but so far very pleased .

This is as tough and comfortable as issue kit and does a great job.Its the best Ive found.The size is above your usual - but if you are doing a serious yomp or treck and want to wear a norgi and base layers - this is the one.Great to dive into your doss bag and keep warm under the tarpaulin.If you have any doubts. Buy this fleece - it does more than it says on the tin.
I've just purchased this jacket so I can't comment on how it wears but it is very well made using a tough fleece material. This is not a light weight fleece for the walker/hiker but more for the worker/solder. The very large armpit zips control your temperature with heavy exercise very effectively.
Very pleased with this.I spend a lot of time outdoors. Appreciate extra length of fleece and protective layer on sleeves and shoulders plus good zip pockets and high collar too. Much better than run of the mill fleeces
