I bought this for attending concerts at a local outdoor venue that requires low profile chairs. I have since taken it to the beach and on camping trips. It’s great! The only two quibbles I have are that they carry bag has a rubberized surface that sand does not brush off from easily, and the legs are sometimes hard to remove from their holes in order to collapse it back down. The seat is very comfortable.

I had this chair on my wishlist and ended up finding it at the garage sale in my local REI! I felt like I had hit gold. After one camping trip and several uses outdoors (parks and beach) it has proven to be an incredible chair. I really wanted to love this chair. It sounded perfect for outdoor concerts and events. However, it was very small and uncomfortable. Just for reference my daughter and I are thin and athletic. If we couldn't fit comfortably, then I don't see how others will. Maybe a child or someone very petite. The sides also hit at an awkward level so you can only keep your arms right by your sides-not comfortable either. Anyway Helinox please make a chair like this that is wider with lower sides!
I purchased two chairs for an upcoming String Cheese Incident concert, and they are not only super cute, but they are light, compact, comfortable and easy to manipulate when adjusting. The tie dye was perfect for my boyfriend, too!
I bought this lightweight chair for a music festival coming up this summer. I honestly didn’t have high hopes for it but it was a fantastic price so I took a chance. I absolutely love this chair! It was super comfortable and surprisingly easy to get in and out of. I have a similar style from REI that I literally have to crawl on the ground to get up from. I’m 5’8” and seem to fit fine with good back support and a little rocking in this chair. It folds up small, lightweight and seems sturdy. Took some tugging to get the last corner on but not a deal breaker. My only regret is not getting two at the sale price as they seem to be gone now. Mine is black/blue.
My wife and I got two of these for Austin City Limits festival initially and loved them. They are compact, when carrying, you barely know they're there. They're super light and easy to put together and take apart. They are also super comfy and aren't bulky so festival-worthy.We have also used them to go to the river, on hikes, camping, etc. We keep them in the car just in case and they're small enough that they just stay there all the time! Love them!!
This is incredibly sturdy yet lightweight, easy to bring around. Absolutely everything is working as expected. However, please note that it can be a little hard to set up initially before it stretches out a bit. It also probably isn't the best for seniors or disabled people because the position is close to the floor you basically have to fall or crawl in.
Customer service told me i could use my discount code for this chair if I cancel my order and restart an order. The discount code did not work on this order because it already had a reduction in price. The chair was bundled with a cup holder that did not fit the chair, and this is not clearly stated in the bundle. Once I got the chair and sat in it, I realized the chair forces my spine to a C shape position, which is unhealthy. The top ridge of the chair fabric digs into my back if I try to straighten my spine.
This chair is very uncomfortable, I took it out of the box, put it together on the living room floor, sat in it for 15 seconds, stood up, tried to sit in it again and realized it would never work for me. I’d do just as well to sit on the ground and possibly be more comfortable. I put it back in the box and returned it. Sadly it cost me $23.00 to return a $59.00 chair as Helionox does not provide a return shipping label option. I would recommend that you purchase this locally, or from Amazon or REI so you don’t have to pay a lot to return it for a refund. This is no where near as comfortable as other helionox chairs.
