Like all Guiwillow's series 500 kits it is accurate and complete. There is a problem with the final assembly... the wing is supposed to pass through the fuselage and the opening does not allow this to be done. I had to remove a section of the fuselage to attatch the wing assembly and then scratch build parts to replace what was removed. Also I choose to cover these kits with 1/32" balsa sheet instead of the tissue supplied so my build time is much more than the kit states. That is not the fault of the manufacturer, I feel the finished product looks much better. I've built all this series and I am very happy with the results!

The Lazar cut pieces are easy to work with. Its been a lot of years since I built a balsa plane and the scale was smaller then expected... But still fun to build.

Inexpensive balsa and tissue model plane kit. Materials, accessories, glues, paints, etc... are easy to find and inexpensive to buy. Easy kit to build, paint, add decals and fly. Flies on a Cox .020 Pee Wee Engine, Line Control flying or Free Flying with rubber band or tiny engine.

I did not get a chance to say something about the precut parts. almost every one of them was too narrow for the 16th balsa wood stringer to fit in it. I had to knotch out almost every one. This made the alignment off line a little which left everything askew. The model did not come out as well as your first model that I assembled. I was also disappointed in the front cowling. It appeared that it came from a different model. I had to jury rig it to make it halfway work.
I really love building the Guillows balsa plane kits. Laser cuts parts are a plus also. Thanks.
Laser cut pieces are very accurate and easy to remove from the stock. I use the eachione P51d Mustang control/stabilizer/esc with the matching motor and gearbox to make these 500 series Guillows models fly. Great combination.
Its a balsa wood model. Its not expected to be durable. It was very easy to assemble.
I bought this for my nephew and he just loves being able to out this together! It is true to the Guillows name and is truly a great plane!
Had I known the kit was of older vintage ,I wpould have skipped this one. The older kits are the old punch out cuts,not nearly as nice lazser cut out.
