I have a dairy intolerance and, after having original mayonnaise on tuna etc for years I found that I was sadly unable to. This Vegan mayonnaise is a game changer. Its thick and creamy and tastes EXACTLY like really good quality original mayonnaise. I absolutely love it. Ive also tried the garlic version and thats just as good. I dont buy any other now so all the family use this one. One tip is make sure you buy the jar version and not the squeezy bottle as its so thick you end up with loads left over on the insides of the bottle. With a jar its much easier and cleaner.

I really like Hellmann’s mayonnaise. We use it on our sandwiches on our sandwich wraps I put it in my macaroni and cheese just a little secret of mine. I use it in my meatloaf. I use it in my meatballs. I use it with this recipe for sausage dip I use it for my Vidalia onion cheese dip. Are use it for bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches. I use it for tomato sandwiches. It has a wonderful flavor. As a child, I would look at mayonnaise and think it was nasty. We ate our fair share of miracle whip growing up my older sister introduced Hellmann’s into our house, and it’s been a staple, and my favorite ever since .I don’t pick up another kind of mayonnaise when I go to the grocery store ever. I don’t think I ever will.

3rd time Damaged/ Broken on arrival.

I don't normally write reviews. I'm the kind of person that believes you should get what you have paid for. In this case I paid for two 64oz. jars of Hellmann's mayonnaise. Hellmann's is hands down my favorite mayonnaise, this is not the issue. The problem is with how the mayonnaise is packed and shipped. The last three times I've ordered online (because my local club is out of stock... still) and each time, upon receipt of the three separate shipments, the jars have arrived with broken lids/ broken lids and leaking jars, or a complete mayonnaise explosion. That jar was in pieces. Luckily with that shipment the jars were put into a secondary plastic bag which contained the awful mess. All these incidents are unacceptable, but this is the third time in three orders that this has happened, and this is nearly unforgivable. As I said the local club has been out of stock for the past year so I am restricted to having them shipped, which doesn't bother me one way or the other. What does bother me is that I am NOT getting what I have paid for and that is upsetting.

Last year I noticed that your mayonnaise not only tasted different but it looked different in the jar. So much so I initially thought that the mayonnaise had gone bad in my refrigerator. I went out and purchased another jar only to find out the consistency and flavor was the same as the jar I had just thrown out. I can't begin to tell you how disappointing this was. I don't know why companies insist on doing things like this, but I imagine it has something to do with money. It blows my mind how you can produce the best mayonnaise in the world for over 100 years and then suddenly change the recipe effecting the flavor and consistency. Gripe over squeezy bottle

I have just finished using your Hellmann’s Light Mayonnaise in the new 100% recycled bottle. I have noticed from previous reviews that customers have been moaning about the squeezy bottle for 9 years!! Why is the new bottle just as bad as the original bottle?Even from the very first use I found it very difficult to extract the mayonnaise. The plastic is far too rigid and its inflexibility restricts the flow, and for anyone with problems with grip and dexterity it is torture to extract the mayonnaise. On occasions when I have had to store the bottle on its side in the fridge it then took forever to extract the mayonnaise. Products losing savings value.

The product has it's usual great taste. But here is an unaddressed issue. It is only available in this size and the reasonable price to those who have the Plus membership. It is not on the shelf at my closest store. The alternatives are considerably more in cost at most other stores. So, one either has to have a Plus membership or 1) pay shipping or 2) shop elsewhere. I mention this as this situation is not limited to this product alone. There have been more the "several" similar issues where the product in the money saving size, has been removed from the shelves of the local store, but remain available to Plus members.

Very unhappy with Hellmann's Real Mayonaise

What is going on with Hellmann's Real Mayonaise? I grew up on it and use it to make dishes for my family. I just purchased two new 30 oz. jars that were $ 7.99 each which is crazy. $ 8.00 for a jar of Mayonaise which taste terrible. It is so smooth like Miracle Whip because there are less eggs /egg yolks and more soybean oil and omega 3 added. I am returning the jar I didn't open. The Unilever Company tried being cost effective years ago and it didn't work out for the company. Go back to the original recipe. The consumers noticed the change of the recipe and your sales will suffer1. You increased the price but you cut back on the quality of the product. All for greed. Shame on you Unilever!!

Why Have You Changed A Perfect Product?

I have always LOVED Hellmann's mayo.....when I moved to the west coast, I lamented that I had to use Best Mayo.....even though it's the same product.....just because of my loyalty to the brand. However, recently, I'm noticing the Hellmann's is no longer the product is used to be. It always had a more solid feel that didn't spread evenly, because it stuck together more, and the flavor popped with freshness. The longer it stayed, even though it was still good, that texture would smooth out and it would lose a little of it's flavor, but that's when you knew it was time for a new jar.Now, a brand new jar is WAY too smooth, and doesn't have the same viscosity. The flavor is dull, and borders on tasting spoiled. The freshness and "pop" is long gone.
