I bought this a few weeks ago and have really been impressed with my experience with the jacket. I have primarily used the jacket as a rain coat and lightweight shell for cooler days. The fit is great for slimmer people like myself. I am about 5'5" and the small size fits me perfectly. Overall I am thrilled with the product and it affirms my expectations of Helly Hansen.

I have been wearing Helly Hansen products for over a decade. I love there shell jackets. This is more of a classic ski jacket. It keeps me a little warmer on long walks with my dog in the NorthEast without having to put on an additional layer. Fleece collar is super comfortable. I highly recommend this product.

As described, this is a great light weight windproof/water resistant jacket for sailing or walking around town. It is good for light rain or spray, but it's not fully waterproof. It does tend to get soaked through in heavy rain. I would recommend this. Construction and stitching appear good, but it's only a month old.
I bought this jacket for my husband to use on our open fishing-type console power boat. It goes fast and is pretty exposed to weather so I wanted something that was wind and light rain resistant yet attractive enough to wear around town if we dock somewhere to have lunch. It needed a hood for times when it’s a little chilly or drizzly underway. This jacket fits the bill perfectly and I want to buy one for myself!!!!

Minimal mesh liner, breathable material and wool collar make this a perfect light weight jacket for rainy weather in the tropics. Hide away hood is a nice feature too. Husband is athletic build, 6’3, 240 and the large is perfect. XL would be necessary if needed over multiple layers of clothing.
Sweet Jacket. Weight is perfect, size is excellent. (5'10" average to slim-medium size) Perfect Pockets! Front is deep lots of room. Inside pocket is the perfect size for my phone (most phones will fit) Hood is ideal, it fits your head perfect and does not block your view. (Most hoods always block my view looking up or side to side) Love how it tucks away with velcro to hold in place. This jacket blocks the wind tremendously well, but it is not hot in warmer weather. 10 C degrees with wind was good. 15 C degrees still comfortable. Quality is High End for Sure. Can't wait for winter to get a really nice Ski Shell.
