This was my third HH jacket. I already own a Crew Midlayer in a medium and it fits perfect. But this Crew in a medium is too big without the midlayer fleece lining. So I ordered small. Unfortunately, it was too small. So to sum up, don't size down.Other than my issue the jacket is excellent as expected. Nice fleece on collar and in pockets; solid zippers, and the mesh lining gets rid of the clammy feel of a shell jacket. Highly recommend!

Two years ago I was at Disney World and 1st saw a Helly Hansen coat in the gift shop on the Frozen ride. Looked awesome but was pretty expensive for my taste.A few weeks ago I was looking for a jacket and remembered taking pictures of the HH jacket. Came on this site and picked this one out and thought for $150 it’s reasonable.Wasn’t sure if a large would fit me... I’m 197 lbs. and 5’10” with maybe just slightly less than a medium size stomach. I’m definitely not thin. It fits and I don’t have to suck it in... but I’m right on the cusp of going up a size. So if you’re 200+... go with the XL.Within the first three days of wearing the jacket I had four people say they liked or loved the jacket. Its slim fit is perfect and I rather like the slightly longer sleeves.Even though the color highlights (zippers) were not the same as the website showed, HH’s customer service really came through and offered a generous credit and convinced me that they are sincere in putting customer satisfaction first. For those with a non-athletic body shape, this is an amazing jacket (material, color options, look).I'm 6.4 (1.92 m) and 216 lbs (~98Kg) and have a very "built" aka athletic body shape:Jacket size L is too short in length and way too tight around shoulders and chest and a little bit boxy around my torso.Jacket size XL is a perfect fit for my chest and shoulders but extremely boxy and baggy around the torso to an extent, that I could fit 2 mid-sized pillows under the jacket with still room to spare!!!!!! :(Hint to HH:Please urgently redesign your jacket cuts or bring an alternative line with a V-shape cut of your jacket which are meant for sportive / athletic built people.
Another fantastic jacket from H&H . This is the third jacket I’ve bought and they just work. Good zips, nice soft material around the neck, very comfortable and light weight. I’ve had it for about 6 months with no problems
I bought this crew jacket for my son and not only does it do the job of keeping the rain off and the wind out excellently, but it's stylish whilst doing it! The cut is spot on, as though it was tailor made!The collar being lined adds to the comfort, which is a true bonus in bad weather.
I love my crew jacket! It's long in the back and fitted without being too tight. It's light weight and easy to pack. After wearing it for 2 years, the front zipper corroded from salt water. I contact HH and they replaced it right away. Couldn't ask for a better company to stand by their products. Hoping that in the future, more zippers will not be metal, so we can wear these clothes without fear on and off the water.
Received my Helly Hansen jacket for Christmas 2018. Put it to use right away in sub-freezing weather for half marathon training. It is incredibly warm for such a light weight jacket. If the temperature is above 20F, then only a long sleeve dry fit shirt is necessary. Great for wind, especially the high neck collar and adjustable cuff closure. It is very comfortable and unrestrictive in arm and shoulder area. The exterior side pockets are good size for gloves or hat, the inside and outside breast pockets are adequate size for phone. The size runs very close to normal. Would rate this at 5 star or greater!
Love this jacket, well worth the price tag 4 pockets with zip, after working the coat on very cold/freezing days I don't even notice it except my hands, I was chatting on my break outside and noticed everyone around me shivering to me that's a good coat. I'm a wimp in the cold, but can't fault this jacket, hood and high collar appear to stop the bone chilling wind, fold the hood away and the back rolls up to keeping your neck warm if you don't want the hood up. The material is nice and comfortable, very light and when it was washed it dried very fast. Zip pockets are nice and deep but also allow you to comfortably relax you arms in a natural position.
