The coat, when removed from the closet of my room after the summer, I could find how Helly Hansen's letters on the neck were completely melted and have stained the rest of the coat in white. I totally disagree with this answer. It is clearly a manufacturing error that melts the letters of a coat in a closet that is far from exposure to the sun or any source of heat. I beg a solution from Helly Hansen, a brand in which I have been placing my trust for many years and I have never had any problem with any of the items purchased. Please beg for a solution. Thank you

This is the third Dubliner jacket I have purchased over the years. Outside of normal wear and tare (normally around the cuffs) they last a very long time.It is excellent for areas with changing fall/winter/spring weather conditions.It is lightweight, (I don't like heavy jackets) , warm in winter, resists rain, breaks the wind, and has a handy hide away hood.

I bought this jacket for a trip to Germany in the winter. This jacket is very light, which makes it great for travelling. Despite its low weight it is very warm! I walked around in -1 temperatures wearing this jacket, a t-shirt and jeans and I was warm. light rain was no problem either. I have also worn it in warmer temperatures without getting too hot and sweaty. The jacket breaths well. This is my first Helly Hansen product and I will definitely be buying more of their products.

My last Helly Hansen jacket is wearing out after 10 years of regular use, including boating in inclement weather. I purchased this jacket to replace it. The jacket is well made, comfortable, fits well and has just enough insulation for cooler/cold days here north western Washington. Since I am of Norwegian descent, I am glad that Helly Hansen continues to produce high quality, functional jackets.
Well made and fits as expected; I would normally take an XL and this XL fits perfectly.Lining is sufficient for days approaching freezing temps, and with an additional layer underneath should be good slightly below freezing.Only minor quibble is the cuffs; I would appreciate an additional snap for a finer adjustment at the wrist, as now I find it either too tight or too loose.That aside this is a fine jacket for spring and fall!
Currently in the DMV and this jacket has been perfect for those early morning commutes. We're seeing temps hit the low 20s and it’ll still be pretty warm. The jacket does run a little tight around the waist.
The jacket is perfect! I'm 5'6, 150lbs, slim body and the the jacket fits perfectly on a size small. My jacket came with a little defect. The hood elastic cord was riped when I received it. Not a deal breaker though. The jacket is very comfortable and not to snugg. I can layer it with a hoody for extra warmth and still be comfortable in it. Insulation is good for what you pay for. Stitching are nice, zipper can be a little better. Zipper seperated while trying to zip it up but was easily fixed. I would recommend
I bought this for my daily scooter commute (3 miles there and 3 miles back) in Brooklyn. Love this. Surprisingly warm and, to be honest, this may just become my winter jacket it's so warm. The hood is fleece-lined which is a nice touch. All the zippers are super nice construction and they seem like they will last forever. This thing stops ALL the rain and also breathes well (somehow?) so you don't get super hot. Honestly, worth the money if you're going to be out in the elements. Buy!
It does not disappoint me. I have had other HH garments and this one continues in its line of fulfilling what it offers. Small details: The pockets are small. The sleeve closure is two clips, in the previous one it was velcro and you had more possibility of adjustment. The hat slides well but the closure is a single velcro point. I haven't used it in wet conditions yet, but I have no doubt that it will do the job.
Very happy with the purchase of this jacket. I almost bought the non insulated version at a local store at the beginning of the fall but was so happy I spent the few extra bucks to get the insulated jacket. While this jackets excels in windy/rainy conditions, I find it to be extremely versatile as a jacket from Fall all the way to Spring. Because of the insulation and wind protection, I have used this in the Winter with a few layers underneath. If planning on doing that, I would suggest buying one size up as I thought the jacket ran slightly small.
