Temperatures haven't been brutal yet, but they've dipped below freezing a few times and the jacket has kept me warm and remained light with terrific mobility. Hip pockets are deep, breast and inside pockets are perfect size. The hood is removable, which I like since I wear the jacket every day. The hood goes over a helmet, so on super cold skiing days I'll probably zip it back on. So far so good!

The small fit just fine, but I like a little more give because I plan on using the jacket for snowboarding. the jacket feels well made. Zippers are easy to use, and I like the pocket designs. there's a little eyeglass wipe sewed into to the front breast pocket that you can pull out to clean your goggles. Love this jacket, especially as a ski jacket but also looks and works great for everyday winter! It’s really well sealed against wind, and just warm enough without being too hot. On frigid days, it needs a mid-weight layer (fleece) under it, which works well too. It’s got every imaginable pocket in just the right spot, and is incredibly high quality construction.

Best winter coat I've bought in a long time. I spend a lot of time in cold ice rinks and started wearing heated vests under all of my coats. Bought this one and no longer need the heated vest. Love the under arm opening that allow air flow there.
I picked this jacket up after returning another even more expensive brand that fell apart in 3 weeks of light use. It hasn’t been too cold yet but at 0C you do need more than a T-shirt under neither. I would consider this coat a soft shell. My biggest concern is how long the DWR will last on the outside. I like the colours, dislike the lack of thumb holes. Also the medium needs to be cut longer. This is not only HH. All brands seem to be cutting jackets shorter, my guess is to save a few cents on material. A larger was too big in the waist, the snow skirt was loose on me. Waiting for really cold weather to see if it performs.

Weather conditions were almost mid winter like ranging from snowy, cold and windy. The Juniper 3.0 jacket exceeded my expectations.as it kept me warm and comfortable all day long. The length and weight are fantastic for boarding. I was in 10-30 degrees (mostly sunny and little wind) for 6 days on the slopes and had no complaints whatsoever. If I got warm, the vents were nice and opening up the front was simple with gloves. A ton of perfectly placed pockets for passes, money, goggles, and phones so they aren't in your way and also not on your mind for getting lost. The fit was a touch loose but was there for layering if needed. The snow skirt and wrist snow protection were amazing! I never got any snow shot up the arms or waist. I would definitely buy this again.
Stylish and well constructed. Light insulation, so not bulky, but still decently warm. You will need to layer on very cold days.5'9" 200lbs - Large is just baggy enough to leave room to layer, but not oversized. Have stayed dry in all conditions.Powder skirt and wrist gaiters keep the snow out - but would be nice to have thumb holes for the wrist gaiters.Left sleeve has a lift pass pocket. Left outer chest has an included goggle wipe on a bungee. Inner chest pocket is pretty small - can't fit my wallet - but there's two chest and two side pockets that all zip.Overall a nice jacket that seems durable and has served well on the snow and around town.
I bought 2 of these jackets , one in store and one online (both from Altitude-Sports) . One was a size L and the other a XXL . Love the jackets ! We find that they fit well . On days that were fairly cool , we thought that we would need an extra layer to stay warm . Turns out that the jackets were warmer than expected (pleasant surprise) . Love all the pockets and vents on the jacket . Only thing that I noticed is that even though we bought the same jacket from the same retailer the same day (one in store and one online) the same blue colour was not a perfect match . I'd say this is a well designed ski jacket. However I would classify it more as a shell jacket. Once -18 to -30C hits you definitely need a fleece underneath it. Not much warmth without a good layer underneath. Sizing was difficult. I'm only 5'11". 180 lbs and I needed an XL. However the sleeves are a bit long for me, and I have long arms. I ordered this online and had to exchange a few to get the right size. Everything went fairly smooth with exchanges and money refund. Good staff it seemed. The coolest part of the jacket is probably the colour, lots of complements. Lol. Somewhat pricey just for colour and little warmth though.
