I think this is the third Helly Hansen raincoat I’ve had since the mid-1990s! As soon as I wear one to death (I’m pretty rough on my gear), I simply order another one from HH. I’ve always been impressed with the weatherproof capacity, breathability and fit of HH raincoats… and love the features (tuck-away hood, zipper pockets, internal pocket, velcro cuffs). This HH crew hooded jacket is as expected: Top quality, great fit, great performance. I’ve now had it for a month and wear it at least weekly… I’m confident it will work great for many years… they always do.

Solid well thought out product. ...and with a bit of class. Entering my body-data on the site and letting the app pick my size resulted in a perfect fit. There are too many details to mention, down to a special pocket-fabric to keep my hands warm and toasty, to the loop at the back of the jacket for easy hanging in the wet locker. I'm and old salt from Norway who has been wearing Helly Hansen long before it was internationally known. I have never been disappointed.

Another fantastic jacket from H&H . This is the third jacket I’ve bought and they just work. Good zips, nice soft material around the neck, very comfortable and light weight. I’ve had it for about 6 months with no problems
The mesh it saw in photos looked like pockets, so handy for temporary phone or glass case storage…But alas, when I put something in there, they fell straight out of the bottom..They’re not pockets at all, not sure what their purpose is, however can’t see any issue with doubling their purpose from whatever they do to actual pockets, just need the bottom stitched .Other than this disappointment, nice enough rain jacket.Oh wouldn’t mind hood storage included either, but I knew that before purchasing. .
Warm, wind proof and water proof. Like that hood tucks away. Fit is tighter. I’ve the same size jacket in the alpha lifaloft and this crew jacket feels a size smaller. Arms are narrow too, so if you layer the fleece liner will bunch up. I’d buy it again.
Sweet Jacket. Weight is perfect, size is excellent. (5'10" average to slim-medium size) Perfect Pockets! Front is deep lots of room. Inside pocket is the perfect size for my phone (most phones will fit) Hood is ideal, it fits your head perfect and does not block your view. (Most hoods always block my view looking up or side to side) Love how it tucks away with velcro to hold in place. This jacket blocks the wind tremendously well, but it is not hot in warmer weather. 10 C degrees with wind was good. 15 C degrees still comfortable. Quality is High End for Sure. Can't wait for winter to get a really nice Ski Shell.
I like the waterproofing and the fit.Few things that keep it from checking all the boxes for me. No pit zips! I feel this should be standard on all jackets but that my opinion.It is absolutely covered in HH logos! Like a lot. It’s kinda obnoxious.The fleece lining on the inside makes the sleeves a bit grabby so it always takes a while to get a long sleeve shirts sleeves readjusted.
A very swish high tech spray jacket with great features including internal and external pockets, fleece lined collar and internal mesh lining. Initially ordered a size to large and exchange process was seamless and very efficient....complete changeover in less than week. Excellent customer service?
I purchased this for my daughter for college sailing as it is pretty cool right now on the waters of Maine . She has stayed so warm & dry. I purchased a men's medium so she would be able to layer . It fits but a bit snug for layering. I have to say that compared to other brands which she was tried if you want to layer a heavyweight hoodie under it for warmth than size up. She picked the Fjord Blue which is gorgeous ! We are still looking for Salopettes that are a bit more affordable but not many places carry them for sailing & if they do they are very high priced ! Helly is a brand we love ! Thanks Helly ! And Moosejaw is our favorite place ! We were very happy to see they carried some sailing gear! Please carry some more !
