What can I say, I've had a Henry for over 15 years, he's my garage, decorating, building workhorse and has been abused sucking up all manner of horrible dirty things, he's fallen down stairs, been dragged everywhere and still works so well. He is a bit grubby and is not really house-trained anymore so lives outside.We have been through a few domestic vacuums, mostly expensive, some good, some fragile, some 'designer'; most, have in some way reduced their efficiency over time or started falling apart.So the arrival of new 'house-trained' Henry has been very well received, he's already well loved, his pro-tools extras are amazing and everything's cleaner than it's been for ages... I'm sure he'll be with us for many years to come. Oh, and he's not allowed outside !

Henry does everything that I didn't like about my previous vac well. A lovely long lead that I don't have to keep unplugging and moving. It gets very close to edges and skirting boards. Easily gets under furniture. Easy to use on sofa and chairs. A big bag that I don't have to empty after every clean and no dust flying everywhere when I do. The only slight drawbacka are that it isn't as easy to push across carpet and takes up a lot of storage space. Ive been ordering Henry vacuum cleaners for many years. They are very reliable. Good suction, build quality good, easy to manage. Unfortunately on my latest purchase of a Henry vacuum cleaner. The brush head has a slight design fault I feel. When you are vacuuming carpet you’re not able to do a forward movement as the wheels force the brushhead to elevate, so it does not vacuum on the forward movement you have to keep pulling it back for it to suck dirt and dust. Very annoying. I’ve had to put on my very old Henry head onto the new vacuum cleaner.

On first using my new Henry, I was impressed with how well he picked up hair and tiny bits stuck in-between the carpet deep down that my previous upright hoover failed to do. The results after having a good hoovering session with Henry were most excellent. I could instantly tell the difference as all carpets looked much cleaner and fresher if not newer. I found the suction/ power far better than the previous upright hoover and the attachments fitted well looking robust enough to take some hard knocks. Am going to tackle the inside of the car over weekend and with confidence! It's a five star yes from me, highly recommend Henry hoover to anyone who wants results, and for a very good price. After seeing the results, I cant help but smile!

I am so sorry I purchased this vacuum. I read so many wonderful reviews, but I am very disappointed. It is a most basic vacuum. The handle pieces do not lock into place and regularly fall apart. There is no control of the level of suction, so it cannot be used for vacuuming curtains and blinds (and rugs). I also find that it is very difficult to push the vacuum head forward on carpet, regardless of the head setting. There is also not enough places on the vacuum to store all of the provided tools. It might look pretty, but doesn’t work as well as I expected. I wish I had bought a Miele instead.

The best hoover ever! We purchased Henry after our last hoover packed up; I love how easy it is to clean with this very long cable. I can do a whole level of the house without needing to unplug and reconnect. It's great. The nozzle is long, so you don't need to bend it awkwardly. The hoover bags are also made from cloth so they can be reused; this is innovative and less wasteful. Extremely happy the cleaning standard is high, and the process is much easier and enjoyable.

This is not a complicated machine making cleaning the vacuum cleaner internally a very easy task as it is made of simple parts that separate very easily, and go back together very easily, and quickly. Henry Vacuum Cleaner

We bought Henry to replace a cordless vacuum cleaner that was no longer holding its charge. I was a little worried about his size and weight given we don't have much room and I don't particularly like hauling heavy objects around! This Henry, however, is not overly heavy or bulky, and the performance is excellent. We were dog-sitting when he arrived, and he did a fabulous job of keeping the amount of dog hair to a minimum. Henry works well on both our carpeted and wooden flooring, he has a long cable so I don't have to keep moving the plug to a new location, and he moves around easily on his wheels. He has been a welcome member to the family :-)

Love my new Henry just as much as my other that I have in the workshop n the gym. Lovely little workhorses with good dust bag capacity.

Over the years Ive purchased 5 Henrys. This one being the 5th. I still have 3 of them. One in the workshop one in the gym and now the new one in the house. This seems more compact. Suction power is great, store your tools on board These vacuum cleaners are great little workhorses. They are akin to how Hoover used to manufacture theirs quality wise years ago. Ive had the cordless Dyson and the Shark. Dont even waste your mo ey on those two. Theyre a joke. Henry does what it says on the tin. Stores away in the cupboard nicely too. Bargain of the year thus far.

Very poor suction

I bought this in December for my new house. Only used it twice and the suction is very bad. It doesn’t have a double power button on it either compared to the one we previously had. You only have one power when it’s turned on.It does not suck in anything, not even dust, let alone debris or big chunks of mess. We have a new carpet so I thought let’s use the hoover we bought and we were extremely disappointed.I have other appliances from this website which are not so bad but not very good quality either. I don’t think I’ll be buying anything from very again.Unlike the Henry hoovers, this is not the same. We have used henry hoover at my mums for years and it is still working as new. This hoover is nothing compared to it.
