Beautiful timber and solid construction, which does make it very heavy to move, but it looks so amazing. The 2 shelves are removable and have 3 adjustable heights so very flexible to suit different set ups of consoles etc. The only small annoyance is that the back isn't recessed to allow for cables to be plugged in powerpoints, so the tv unit does need to sit away from the wall a little bit. (I have bedside tables from freedom which do have the recessed backs and they look so nice sitting snugly against the wall, so it would be a good idea if in future that feature could be included other furniture as it gives a much tidier look)

This looks beautiful with all my other Hensley furniture but some of the ‘sap seams’ are long, wide and in obvious places so I was a little disappointed in that. I accept they’re part of the natural timber but they do appear in random places. I’ll attach a photo if I can. Customer service follows up warranty claims after about 12 weeks wait so I will just get used to the appearance of these dark lines that look like cracks in the wood and accept the unit as is.

Have made this my entertainment hub, with a stereo system, DVD, ( in the open shelves), and 55 inch TV and then still have 4 drawers for DVD’s , CD’ and lots of room for other storage in the lounge. Great piece of furniture with the light wood making the room spacious and modern
I am very pleased with my purchase. The timber is beautiful and there is a surprising amount of space. The drawers open easily, however note that the recess to open them is on the bottom so you need to bend down to reach it, especially the lower drawer.
We love our Hensley Entertainment unit and our components fit really well on it. Our disappointment is the bleach blotches on one of the drawers. Not a wood grain issue. We have sent an email to try and rectify this but have not yet received a response.swap it out but
It's a beautiful unit although we were told on several occasions it was 100% wood and why we purchased it but it's not. We only realised when we were delived a damaged one that a forklift had gone through the bottom chip board. We had to claim warrenty even though it was delivered broken. We then got a replacement that low and behold was also damaged! It's way too heavy for freedom to transport and not damage or they need to not use third party delievety who dont care abput how its delieved and wont unpackage..It's a shame actually still a lovely item
Love it! Good solid construction, wood and color is perfect. So great to be able to get the longer size too fits perfectly in our large rectangular lounge room. Now all I need is a shelf or display cabinet to match….
Only problem was nasty damage during shipping which penetrated the packaging, but fortunately only caused some small dents to the unit. Waiting to hear from Freedom on reparation.Otherwise looks great
The Entertainment Unit is beautiful and looks great in our living room.The great disappointment is that the delivery people cannot open the item boxed, check to see if any damage, and put into place, the unite is so heavy and cannot be managed on your own.The delivery cost is a great expense and should be included in the service.No purchase from any store I have made cost me $150 .00 for delivery and didn't open the furniture, check and place it where the customer wants it.They placed it in the living room and leftVery unhappy
