We have bought a similar one but different model with different base layout around 4 years ago, however the rest of the structure were the same. The rubber on the handle to adjust the hight somehow "melt" and became sticky after three years of use. We have to buy a new one because the clips of the handle broke up. Overall, this is still a very robust and well designed stand. The tripod has rubber which does not scratch the timber floor in my case.

I originally got the stagg version which was really good quality but I couldn't get it to hold up in a horizontal position to hold a laptop. This one DOES but the quality of the flat part that holds the books is not as good as the stagg. Feels more flimsy. However it does what I want it to.

This is a good quality stand that's made to last and easy to use.
Very sturdy stand. Easy to erect and adjust. I no longer end up with my music all over the floor every time I touch it. Very happy.
