I’ve used a lot of Hercules stands and this is another excellent product by them. It has quite a few changes from previous designs, but personally I find this suitable for three functions - in studio with the clamp, for live work and switching between devices (if I need to look up a song and have no wifi on the tablet, I can switch to phone and no longer need to balance it and save it from falling off half way through a song 😂). So for me, it’s brilliant.

First class piece of equipment. Strong and robust. Excellent service. You can't go wrong and if you do then the people from PMT will advise and put it wright for you.
For my special use, an extra 1/4 inch threaded rod would be great if available, so that i can cut it for my job. I would not cut original rod , as I also need it.. Is that threaded rod available as a spare part? Thank You, Keith Ward
I use this to hold an iPad Pro 12.9 on my mic stand. It is great and holds it down and to the side where I can see it and still sing into the mic. Very firm hold so I have no fear of damage. Expensive but so is everything now.
Great piece of kit, to give you that extra aid for a failing memory for lyrics! Usual Hercules high quality. Would give it 5* if the joint at the stand clamp swivelled too - but I guess that might add to cost. I’ve also used it clamped to my guitar stand for small acoustic gigs.
The costumer service and selection of equipment both exceed expectations. The price point is very affordable! I will continue to shop at and recommend B&H to friends and colleagues.The Hercules mic clip is great!! Heads up, it's not quite big enough for an iPhone 6, so I had to throw a case on my phone, and it worked perfectly! The position of the phone is quite close to the mic so definitely take a moment To feel out positioning. This item is a STRONG 9!
This thing is solid, and adjustable, and the grip is tight and rubberized to securely hood any device, vertically or horizontally. The threads are in a metal nut within the plastic, so it holds tight. The other model I had bought had plastic threads, and it couldn't go tight enough to keep the tablet from sinking during performance, and the threads stripped during the first night. This one is exponentially better!
This holder does a great job of holding my Samsung Tablet. Seems well made with strong grip to mic stand. Very adjustable for all angles and needs. Definitely recommend!
