Surprisingly good value at $60-70, this is a good step up from cheaper stands. It's sturdy, and has big knobs and handles that are easy to use. The squeeze-grip handle for height adjustment is so nice to use and faster than unscrewing any sort of clamp system.

Bought this particular microphone stand as it is so superior to all others I’ve used. It’s got some weight to it so it doesn’t fall over the moment you touch it. It has quick release adjustments and quick release clip, ideal for working musician. It’s expensive but I’d rather pay a bit more for a top quality item.

Hercules stands are the best bang for buck out there.
Simple mechanics, solid construction.Have used for several years this style and prefer over the tradition wind stands: which over time threads wear out and stop tightening. This boom mic stand is simple and efficient.
Very sturdy stands and the EZ clips are so much better than the twist on ones. Don't have to worry about clip screw sizes and whether it can fit a wireless mic and they grip very tightly so no more loose or moving mics.

These are good quality stands, easy to assemble out of the box, and easy to work with on stage and in the studio.
This stand is very sturdy and supportive. Have been using this for week now and have to say its very comfortable and provides good length and support for the user.
works as it should ,only used it a couple of gigs but feels solid and don't have to tighten it to breaking point to hold it in place
