This is the second time that I have received a box with dents or scratches that detract from the value of the product for a collector. It was like that with the base game, the box I received looked like it was used, and I bought the most expensive crowdfunding package. I contacted Hasbro to try to get at least one new box, I sent a photo showing how the one I received had arrived with manufacturing problems, but they said they don't make that kind of replacement. It's a pity they don't take that kind of care with people who appreciate well-finished products. As I like the game, I keep buying all the expansions, but it's a shame to look at the boxes that are so flawed.

Great expansion, very neat... however... I'm not sure why you keep adding more furniture. Some of the quests require watery floor special terrain, but you had no little tiles for those. Also the theme of this expansion seemed a little... confused. We got elf politics, cultists and ...ghosts?
Rise of the Dread Moon is the newest expansion pack for the Hero Quest gaming system. This is a fun fantasy adventure role playing game that is popular with my children and their friends. They were really excited to get this new quest pack and started going over all the new items and playing immediately. The package has lots of game related items like cards, tokens, figurines and a book with 10 new quests so they can continue the adventure and expand into new adventures. My children and their friends really like Hero Quest and spend a lot of time playing it. Anyone that likes Hero Quest will be really happy to get this new Quest Pack.
This Avalon Hill HeroQuest Rise of the Dread Moon Quest Pack was the perfect expansion to my teenage son's HeroQuest Game System and provides hours of fun with his friends. It includes the Quest book with 10 quests, 29 minis, 2 mirror stands, 58 game cards, cardboard title sheet, and a game guide. Love it finally puts an end to to the Mage of the Mirror and frees Elethorn. The 29 minis are nicely detailed and add to the quests. The inclusion of the Commander of the Guardian Knight really excited my son for inclusion in his play in addition to the 4 Cadre of the Raven's Veil being some of his favorites. This HeroQuest Rise of the Dread Moon Quest Pack will provide hours of entertainment and intrigue. Great expansion.

This expansion is full of new ideas and concepts. Superbly done. As always when playing heroquest I do change and bend rules occasionally. Being Zargon I can manipulate the game by giving it my own flavor. I am giving the four mercenaries in the game an extra ability. They are not you're standard kind. Unlocking them is a genius design. Love them. As well as the new enemies. Spectors, Wraith, ect. I love the new material. I'm look forward to the next expansion!Thanks for all the fun and adventures,DJ Sokol
