This backpack is perfect. I commute to work with this backpack and it comfortably fits my laptop, notebook, waterbottle, and other essentials. It doesn't even feel heavy. And I've been known to bring home slabs of marble from work, and even with like 10lbs of stone in the bag with all my other stuff it has held up to the strain while evenly distributing the weight on my back. My commute includes half a mile walk and at least three flights of stairs (love an nyc commute).

I’ve had 3 of these bags, and the latest addition had me returning it - why? the laptop sleeve could barely fit my laptop with the case on because it’s so tight! When they say it can fit a laptop 15-16” they mean it without a case, and there’s no way I’m putting one in without protection despite the sleeve being padded.Aside from that I loved this backpack so much and they lasted 5+ years! Easy to wash and before the padded sleeve addition, it fit a heck of a lot more. I also miss the small interior pocket I would put my glasses case or small item.Pros: I like the added netted pocket in the front

I was excited to get this bag. I think it looks very sharp and it seems to be well made.However;the shoulder straps on this bag are incredibly uncomfortable. They're very thick and stiff;and they jab into the sides of my arms (bicep area). If I attempt to cross my arms;it's actually quite painful. The straps are straight instead of curving. I did a quick survey of other backpacks around my house and none of them are designed like this. Great experience with this backpack. Became my favorite right away. High-quality backpack since it lasted me for a little bit over 5 years. Could improve it with a water bottle pocket on the outside and a little more space on the inside but aside from that it's perfect. Simplicity is its finest. Highly recommended
I received this for Christmas. Looks lovely, but as soon as I went to use it I hated it. Zip is super sharp and scratches hand everytime put it into the bag. Only one zipper so can't access quickly or easily. Zip also isn't smooth to open, takes two hands to open and effort. Finally the little leather tags continually come off. There are so many other lovely practical rucksacks on the market-don't bother with this one!
I purchased this backpack for weekend trips and it is perfect! Very lightweight with one big section instead of wasted space with so many sections. The pocket on the front is convenient and it has two pockets on each side can be used for water bottle and phone or anything you need to grab quickly. It has enough space for a night or two away;or in addition to a suitcase as a carry on. Super comfy and soft;too!
The mustard yellow is beautiful. The bag is a perfect size and if you don't need the laptop pouch it doubles as a show compartment. The front pocket is handy for liquids or essentials m. Just wish there were a few extra pockets. Seems very durable The bag is quite stiff. I am not sure I it's the material or if it's because it's new and needs to be broken in . I'm very satisfied with this purchase
Initially, I adored this bag - undoubtedly my favorite purchase from Herschel. The numerous compartments and the appealing aesthetic of the material were commendable. Nevertheless, I encountered a significant issue as the bag tore within a month—twice. Despite receiving the product twice, each instance resulted in a tear within a month. The material proved susceptible to damage, making it less than ideal for those seeking a durable, long-lasting option.
I needed a new bag for every-day work, so I had ordered it expecting the 15"/16" laptop sleeve to be the right size and upon its delivery found that it was smaller than I expected. I have previously owned bags that also had 15"/16" laptop sleeves and had no prior issues. However, the same laptop I have used with my other bags, did not fit and was too big for the bag. I am not sure if this specific bag runs smaller than other bags with 15"/16" laptop sleeves, or how this bag may differ from other Herschel bags. Regardless, I was disappointed and would only recommend if the laptop sleeve being the incorrect size does not matter to you.
