Bought this because the waterproof version’s rubber straps broke off at the seams after about 2 months of daily use. Turns out the pleather does the same thing! While otherwise a decent bag, the seams holding the straps near the magnet buckle happen to be right where you’ll be bending them the most— a fatal flaw.

I bought this pack because of it‘s design - which is also in reality very nice.The dawnsides of this pack are:- magnets are not strong enough to center themselves. You have to manually put them in the exact right position until they snap in- the shoulder straps always loosen, i have to re-adjust them every 30-60min of wearing. I hope they will get a bit more friction when they become a bit older.For each argument i reduce one point since i think these are 2 important points that should get improved. Other than that, i am very happy with the simplicity and design of this back. Can‘t say anything about the robustness/longevity since i only use it for a month now

I love this backpack for school. The structure of it keeps everything compact, despite having the capacity to hold a ton of stuff. The rectangular shape to it is great for carrying multiple textbooks, and the design of it distributes the weight well so it doesn’t feel like I’m carrying too much. Really nice quality.

Excellent material that feels durable, love the inside pocket which fits my laptop nicely. Very roomy, can fit a lot inside, and I love the style aesthetically! My only issue is the straps can be a little tight when wearing it for long periods, but that's probably my body type, and it can really slip down my arm when wearing it with one strap, but I think that's because it gets unbalanced with my water bottle. It would be great if there were a couple smaller pockets too, but I can live without them!
I’m a teacher and I love fashion. I’m not a hiking, bike trailing, camping or glamping type of a person (but I admire the heck oout of those people who do it). Never would have imagined that I would love my Herschel, Forest Green with brown straps, backpack! I’m able to put a lot of my school items (e.g. laptop, chargers, water bottle, makeup bag/toiletries, extra clothes, etc.). I have had so many of my colleagues mention that I don’t seem like a person to wear the backpack, but they love it on me! Herschel wears me well, lol! Great to have as a travel backpack as well.
Loving this backpack. I got it in the light blue color and it’s truly so adorable. I’m excited to see how it holds up for rainy fall and winter weather. I might invest in a waterproof laptop sleeve just for my peace of mind but I trust that it’ll be great. Highly recommend!
If you are over six feet tall, I don’t recommend this backpack. The steps aren’t long enough and the bag will look small on your frame. The photo of the man holding the bag is somewhat deceptive. Luckily, it matched my wife’s more petite frame. It’s still a very good looking backpack.
I bought this and the strap plastic piece came damaged. Had to order another one. Aside from this minor inconvenience;the bag is absolutely average. I recall buying a Herschel bag several years ago and the entire bag looked and felt premium inside and out. That appears to not be the case for these new bags. I suppose going green is a great excuse for making bags cheaper and charging the same price. If you’re looking for an average bag and don’t want to break the bank;then I’d grab this one. Just don’t expect anything too nice.
I was looking for a great laptop bag that would fit my laptop, charger and some snacks + accessories without having to lug around a larger bag. This thing was built for just that! It's super convenient to access, but also has just enough space and compartments (1 big one, a front sleeve and 2 bottle sleeves) to carry a days worth of work stuff. Plus it looks real snazzy and has those staple Herschel snaps that are so satisfying.
