Ive been working with this saw (3 of them actually) for about 4 years. One for cutting concrete lap siding, one for finish and one for regular framing. Its a simple to use saw, The Lazer personally I dont recommend going off of it but im old fashioned. We dropped our framing saw off of a bonus room it fell on concrete and survived. Only weakness in this saw that ive seen so far is you need to clean the push rods wd-40 works fine, and the plastic around the saftey switch gets kindof weak overtime; otherwise I would recommend this product to anyone.

I've had one for six years. Mine had the laser though, which incidentally never really worked. I've cut thousands of boards with mine and it just keeps going. I'll definitely buy another one if I ever manage to kill mine.

This is an improved model of an already great tool! It was always the smoothest running and cutting saw before! Now it has easier to read markings on both bevel and table angle settings. Possitive angle notches in the table. Dual bevel and the belt drive is sooooo nice! The free blade is one of the best out there for cabinet or trim work. Buy it and you'll be hooked!We have used these Hitachi sliders since 1989 and we can't find anything close to it's quality and performance.

dont buy one with out a laser other than that its one of the best doesnt blow breakers and only ways 43 pounds
