I will never recommend this product. My cat had developed crystals and had emergency surgery. He didn't eat for a little while afterwards from the stress but the vet recommended a prescription diet. After surgery he was free of crystals and started this food. Well let me tell you what, after about a month of being on this food he blocked again and had to have another surgery! That wasn't supposed to happen! So after his 2nd surgery we switched to purinas urinary food and have had no problems for a year now!

I've always had trouble getting my cat Munchkin to eat the wet food. They mostly like to just lick up the gravy. They actually eat the meat and veggies in this food. It's their favorite. From an owner perspective, it's my favorite too because it smells much better than others. Since Munchkin has urinary problems, I usually add some extra water so it's more like stew/soup. They always lap up all the liquid.Munchkin pronouns: they/themEmily pronouns: she/her

If only this came in pate!!! My cat will not eat the stew. We really need the stress component and the pate is great for hiding other supplements and meds in too, but this only comes in stew. Super disappointed that I have to feed the regular c/d pate fish flavor version instead. Hoping they start making this in pate and fish flavor soon!

Excellent food
9 November 2022

My cat loves this food. It's obviously high quality. It smells & looks great. He's been eating it for about 6 years for Feline Interstitial Cystitis. He hasn't had any crystals & has been in FIC remission for almost 5 years. We use this formula & the stress formula chicken veggie stew. I highly recommend it.

My Cat's Reliable Supplier For His Prescription Diet
3 July 2021

My cat was placed on this prescription diet by his Veterinarian due to urinary/digestive issues. Although this diet is quite costly, I had no choice but to go with the "flow" for my cat's health. Luckily he loves the chicken and also the tuna vegetable stew. Petflow has been the company who has had this particular food in stock, when others I'd previously ordered from continually have it on back order. Thankfully, Petflow has kept my kitty eating healthy!

My cats like it
16 September 2022

I mean it seems my cats like this stuff. It stinks, but most wet foods do. I'm unsure still of it is effective or not with my cats particular urinary issues. She has been eating this food for over 8 months. But still has uri ary flair ups pretty regularly. She is still being monitored by our vet. The vet recently recommended we actually feed her a little more then what is directed so we shall see if it helps! But overall at least my cat likes it.

Saved my cat from blockages and crystals, not enough variety
29 November 2020

My cat had a bad blockage and crystals at only about 2 years old. This food was recommended by my vet, and though expensive, seemed like my only option to prevent it from happening to him again. It helped for a while, I went through a rough patch financially and decided to try a knock off brand instead. He immediately started to get a blockage, luckily I caught it soon enough & it was a much easier process this time. Since then I have been feeding him nothing but this food, and he has had no blockages. My only complaints are the price, it's really hard to afford. $38 a month at least. That adds up to nearly $500 a year. My other complaint is that he has gone through several periods of losing interest in the food and practically refuses to eat and has experienced ... MoreMy cat had a bad blockage and crystals at only about 2 years old. My other complaint is that he has gone through several periods of losing interest in the food and practically refuses to eat and has experienced dramatic weight loss during these periods. I'm scared to feed him any other kind of food because the vet bills are more expensive than the food. And trust me I've tried the few other flavor options available, and he only likes the chicken and vegetable stew. There should be more variety. For a cats whose diet must be limited to this food exclusively, there should be more options. Cats need a variety in their diet.

Urinary Care c/d Multi Stress chicken and stew can
19 May 2022

My cat was extremely nervous and anxious when I first brought him home from the Humane Society. And he is FIV positive which has it’s own problems, sometimes. He had urinary problems anytime he would get nervous or anxious. TheVet started him on the urinary Care c/d stress food and he has had no episodes whatsoever. I would definitely recommend using this food.

Very Picky Siamese Approved (minus the carrots)
13 July 2022

My Siamese is very picky and has all of the urinary issues that go along with Siamese cats. He really likes this canned food and I was given all of the brands and flavors as samples from his vet and this one was the only one he really liked. He won't eat the carrots but...he is a cat so *shrug*. He also has healed up from the struvite bladder crystals with the help of Hills brand dry food, this canned food and antibiotics. Petco was quick to deliver after getting the Rx people on their end to okay it.

Works for struvite crystals in cats, smells good!
18 June 2020

My female Russian Blue x Persian Cat loves her wet food and both her and my male cat are having urinary issues (blood drops outside the litter). My male cat was diagnosed with struvite crystals. This food really does do what it says, it dissolves the crystals as advertised.Thank goodness my female cat likes the canned food, but both my cats don't like the dry version of this food (Hills C/D Urinary Care) and will only eat it if starving.Happy to say, my cats like the canned version and do seem to enjoy eating it. I would recommend to feed this to cats who prefer canned food and need their crystals dissolved. The food actually smells like chicken stew and is almost appetising. It's not cheap, but I would imagine it would be cheaper overall as opposed to paying ... MoreMy female Russian Blue x Persian Cat loves her wet food and both her and my male cat are having urinary issues (blood drops outside the litter).
