Our cat is borderline diabetic and Science Diet W/D Gluco control is what our vet recommended to feed her. This food has been keeping her sugar levels down so she doesn't have to go on insulin. We normally get the food from our vet, however, they have been unable to get it recently due to the shipping issues. They gave me samples of other food that is okay for diabetics, but my cat wouldn't eat it. I reached out to Southern Agriculture and they assured me they had it in stock. So, with a prescription from my vet, I was able to purchase the food and get it immediately. My cat loves the food. Thanks to Southern Agriculture for keeping my cat happy and me less stressed.

My cat has been on m/d dry food for a couple of years. He’s coming up 12 and although not a diagnosed diabetic he does struggle with over-eating and thus weight gain. This product has helped him to maintain a healthy weight and reduce his chance of developing diabetes. He loves it! He has a small amount scattered throughout the day and enjoys some wet canned food in the evening. He is mostly an indoor cat and not overly active. This food does not deal help break down furballs so you do need to include a fur ball paste if you have a long furred friend.

When this food was out of stock everywhere due to supply chain issues and difficulty getting the raw materials needed to manufacture it, even Hills the manufacturer couldn't say when it would be available. My diabetic cat doesn’t have a great deal of choice with his diet. Fortunately he loves these cat biscuits. He has been on these for nearly 4 years and his diabetes is well managed on this diet.

My cat loves this and it has helped his diabetes. He also is sensitive to many foods but this is ok. It’s unfortunate that they’ve stopped making the wet food version as that was awesome.

Since her diagnosis we have tried to maintain as healthy a diet as possible for our 13 year old Josie. She is an extremely fussy eater but she loves these biscuits. She has lost a lot of teeth due to her diabetes but she has no problem eating these. And best of all her glucose levels are so good her insulin dose is lowering all the time.

My cats love this dry food most

One cat is 16+ and diabetic, the other is 13 and recently diagnosed diabetic. For over 3 years, ALL their food (wet and dry) has been prescription. This is the one they LOVE the most. They often shun some foods for a time, but not this one! I believe it keeps their insulin units low too. One cat is suppose to eat only wet food, but he begs for this dry food, so I often sprinkle water onto it, and they both think that's a real treat. I highly recommend this cat food.

Our cats love it and it's better for them!

Our indoor cats are overweight, and our vet recommended this formula as a replacement for the store-bought dry food we were feeding them before. I was concerned they might not like the change, but they really like this food. And PetFlow had a much better price than elsewhere. They just started this a few months ago, so we'll see how their weight changes, but so far so good.

Perfect for glucose management in diabetic cats

My 9 year old cat only eats dry food and I have mostly fed him Hills and continue to do so now with the Hills Prescription Diet Md Glucose And Weight Management Dry Cat Food. He loves these biscuits however I do find he eats them very quickly as they don't require as much effort to chew as the biscuits he was used to in the Science Diet range. My cat deserves the best which is why I feed him Hills.

My diabetic cat needs to have Gluco Support as her dry food. It costs me at least 30% less, ordering through PetPost Australia than when I buy it at our vet!
