I thought these were a good deal and the picture showed quality looking bully sticks. But what we received did not look like the picture. They were all very dark in color, and had a strong smell which is not the case with the bully sticks I buy in person at the local pet store. These bully sticks were also very thin, and seemed to be shriveled as if they had somehow been dehydrated more than what we're used to and had nothing left resembling dried meat at all. My two small dogs would normally take a couple days to chew 1 12in bully stick, but they both finished off one of these 12in bully sticks in about 15min. We noticed the next morning they both had diarrhea. We tried again the next night and both ate the whole dusty dry bully stick they were given, and continued to have diarrhea for a whole 2nd day. Though our dogs clearly enjoyed the flavor/smell/chew experience, we tossed out the open bag at this point and went back to our local store to spend 3x the price on what we know are good quality bully sticks that would take days to finish, without the stinky smell, mess, or stinky poo results, and will never purchase these bully sticks again.

I normally purchase this same brand from Atwoods, even though TSC is closer to me. On this purchase I went ahead and got the dog food at TSC. My dogs got diarrhea for 3 days from this food. I thought maybe they had found something in the yard but my yard is fenced and no one has visited to give them something they should of not had. I'm pretty sure it was the dog food. I won't purchase here again. Reason 1 is that i paid more than i would of at Atwoods and 2 is my dogs got sick. I dont change their diet or feed scraps because they have sensitive stomachs.

We have been rescuing dogs for years now. Most of the dogs have come to us is less than good health. After some time with a consistent diet of Hills Science Diet, their fur has transformed and is shiny and thick, their energy is up and they are different dogs than they were. We’ve adopted hospice dogs that we’re predicted to live a couple of months, at best, that have perked up and lived two years or longer. We’re convinced it’s from a good diet and lots of love. There’s no reason for us to use any other product. We’ll stick with what works.
