This is my second Hills Hoist in my life. My old one lasted me for than 40 years of which I can not complain. The new one is made from good materials and looks great in my back yard. It is great being able to make it higher in the wind and also so I can use my mower underneath. Love it.... Denise Northern NSW

Quality purchase! We are a family of 5 with 3 small children. We got the largest we could with 14 lines and the small fold down for extra lineage. There is plenty of room to hang out multiple loads of washing together. I tend to hang my clothes every second line too so that they dry quickly and I still have room. The line is sturdy and well built and compact. We used to have a line in the middle of the backyard which took up space for the kids to play. Now we have a compact wall mounted one and while I was nervous at first about drying time and functionality, I now love it. The online video instructions are a great help although it's not a complicated line to put together. Excellent product from start to finish. Easy on line purchase. So many sizes - can suit area perfectly. Colour match identical to house - Colorbond. During after sales I had a timing of delivery issue. City Living listened and were able to deliver with days to spare. One issue with self installation now that I have done 4! The standard height of the top screw shows 1800mm and that would suit someone 1.8 - 1.85m tall. If you are 1.70m or less tall consider much lower point. The front of the clothes line will be notably higher than the back too, depending on the model chosen. Overall great product.

Excellent. I used the website, made a simple phone call and Voila! a few short weeks later along came the very capable installer (Stuart) who promptly removed our old scrap heap of a wrecked clothesline and replaced it neatly with a shiny new vintage look Rotary hoist. We couldn't be happier. Looks a treat and does exactly what its meant to! Thanks Lifestyle Clotheslines!
I have wanted a Large Hills Hoist Clothes Line for 56 years, that is all of my married life and I am not telling a line.I have gone from two line prop clothes line to a small wall clothes line.I would certainly recommend a Hills Hoist Top of the Range as it is so sturdy and strong and will last a life time. I just love it.
I had been looking for a "real" clothesline for ages, ones that I remembered from childhood that were solid and had plenty of room to do bulk loads of washing, but one that you could wind up to catch the winds as well..I finally found this one and it was all that I had hoped for...The only issue I could fault it with was the installation of it... took two people and threading the wires we decided the best option was to get some little bolts that you thread the wire through once tightened which makes it easier if you have to retighten the wire at any stage... (cant remember what they were but also sourced at Mitre 10) and much easier to work with.

I purchased the largest clothesline in this range and I couldn’t be happier. From the wonderful sales staff to the friendliest young man that installed it - I could not be happier or more satisfied with my new toy. Not only does it have heaps more hanging line but it winds up much higher than it’s predecessor so it’s a must if you’re taller like me. It's been amazing, just like my grandparents. I do at least 3 loads of washing a day, my 7 line, Hills Hoist handles this without overcrowding. Top notch quality this looks like it's built to last. Very rare these days. The last one I purchased made off shore, all lines broke within weeks.
