Limited life span. Plastic middle will eventually snap.
Pegs were fine to begin with. After 12-18 months they have all started to break at the hinge. Now I have a pile of half pegs that cannot be recycled.
Large pegs with staying power and a long life. Much preferred than the everyday supermarket pegs which become brittle with age and snap in your hands. The only downside is it's hard to hold more than two in the hand when pegging on the line.All in all a great peg, easy to use.
Hills Premium Pegs are easy to open and so far are lasting longer than some of the wooden pegs bought around the same time.
I trusted the all the 5 star reviews and bought a couple of packets of these. First thing I noticed taking the washing off was that only 4 of these pegs fit in my hand due to their wide body. I reckon this is less than half the number of regular pegs I could fit in my hand, and makes the job much slower. I can't comment on their longevity yet, but anything that makes a crappy job take longer is not "premium" in my book.
These pegs look great and are well made but so annoying to handle. Because they are smaller and wider I can't grab more than two at a time - as soon as I use one the other falls out of my hand. First world problems I know, but it's super annoying. I think if you're happy to grab one peg at a time they'll be fine.
I love these pegs. They are strong enough to easily hold a wet towel without moving around on the line. I have tried lots of different pegs and keep coming back to these.
