I bought the 40" Hisense for my bedroom. Unfortunately it didn't have Bluetooth, and a refresh rate of only 50hz, so that was a real surprise. For $385 I guess you get what you pay for. After a week I sold it for $250, which meant a loss of $135. I then bought the Hisense 43" TV, which was so much better and was now on "Special" for $495, usually $695, so it was an easy choice. Even though I lost a lot of money, in just a week, the 43" is far superior for the difference in price. It has Bluetooth, is UHD with 4K and a much better interface, a refresh rate of 100hz and some other options. So spend the extra if you can, as it is well worth it if you can pick it up on "Special", but if you can't, it is still a good buy in the upper $600's. John G.

This tv is nothing short of amazing. It is a big leap from our 55inch inch in the luving room. Technology has progressed very quickly since our last TV purchase. The remote is very handy with preprogrammed buttons for all my streaming. Inc Kayo, Disney, Prime, Netflix, Stan and Utube, plus others I don't use.One issue only. It doesn't support bluetooth. There is a headphone jack only.Overall for the price...astounding.

This TV is filled with apps for all sorts of entertainment. Thus far, I only use two; Netflix and Radio. The Netflix app is a bit different to my last TV as the subtitles tend to move from the bottom of the screen, to the top and I really wish I knew how to stop it from happening but it's my only complaint. Good quality picture and various, useful things like USB port. It's my biggest TV purchase, thus widest, so ensure you have something to sit it on that fits! Sound is not brilliant but nothing a soundbar or surround system can't fix. Two features I find particularly useful are the "audio only" and the "timer" for when I want to listen to online radio and go to sleep. (It turns off the screen, but you can hear everything.) Great price for what it offers. Easy set up. Good picture and sound quality. I normally only buy Samsung TVs but as I only needed a small one for the bedroom, this came with 3 years warranty (as opposed to just 1 year from Samsung equivalent), so that was a tipping point for me. A reasonable number of built-in apps, but limited options download extras. I'm struggling to figure out how to connect to basic Australian streaming services like Nine Now, Seven Plus and Ten Play. If anyone knows how, please tell me :)
I got this Hisense 40 inch TV. My friends wanted me to get bigger screen while I prefer to have a medium size screen 40 inches is just perfect for me for my apartment in living lounge. It is so easy to use and most importantly it's picture quality is superior. It has the smart features. Netflix movies or sports channel so easy to use. I like the feature when you turn it off, it looks like the curtains are falling over. Yes, I recommend it mainly due to its picture quality and comfort features.
Doesnt show a picture as soon as I turn it on - I have to select a Chanel before it has a picture. Picture fades away when turning off - not instant off. Colour is ok. Sound is ok. Probably needs soundbar help. Aerial feed seems occasionally sketchy but 3 other tvs in house are higher end and are fine. Ok for a cheap telly to get by til you can afford a better one. Wouldnt but if I knew how it functioned beforehand. Remote is really light and I find it slippery.
The picture quality is okay for this price point. Apart from that this TV is rubbish. Stan and Disney+ showing only menu and audio, no video. Doesn’t have paramount plus and other apps due to not being an Android TV. Terrible if you want to have lower brightness at night for viewing in a bedroom. This is because only video will dim, when you return to Netflix menu the brightness will return to default and blind you. I returned this after one day and got the TCL for $50 less. This fixed all my aforementioned issues.
I picked this up to use with my Xbox Series S. The colour would only look somewhat natural in 8-bit compressed, but the picture would have some chroma artifacts and flickering. Every time I'd come back to the Xbox dashboard there would be weird borders and flickering around the tiles. Smart TV stuff worked fine, the picture and colour of videos and movies all looked fine. But for a TV with the words "Game Mode" printed on the box it didn't provide a good gaming experience so I returned the TV. I had a better experience with the Ffalcon 40 inch FHD TV last year at over $100 less.
It's not flashy but it's a cheap, decent enough tv. The software kinda lets it down, I have seen it hang when trying to load apps and sometimes straight up just not load at all. TV units dont have the best processors in general but of course this one struggles. The menu itself is responsive enough which is great, I hate lag on menu screens. The sound is impressive for such a cheap and small unit, of course you would probably still want to run it through a stereo system but it does just fine on it's own. Speakers don't have much bass but they are loud which is great for the price tag. The image quality is so so, but again thats to be expected. It has a hard time transitioning from dark to light scenes and you can see the image quality take a second to adjust to the ... MoreIt's not flashy but it's a cheap, decent enough tv. Worth the price tag but obviously has some drawbacks. It works well enough for what I need.
i bought this as a computer screen for my kid for his gaming computer and for the rest of the family to use it when they need to as well. does a great job with a nice sharp and clear image. the remote is quick and when the u turn off the tv it looks like the drapes closing at the end of a play lol a very good panel, had another screen this size/brand since 2018 and it's still perfect. if u want a medium sized screen on a budget don't forget about this little fella. ticks all the boxes with beautiful design and image. what more could u want.
