The Hisense U5120G soundbar is a must if you want rich immersive sound which you just can't get from TV speakers. The setup of this soundbar was so easy. Just make sure you connect to the HDMI ports labelled eARC on both the TV and the soundbar and you are good to go! The wireless subwoofer pairs automatically once it is switched on so you can just plug it in anywhere there is a power socket. There are only two HDMI input ports on the back of the soundbar. As I only have two devices this is ok, however, if you have more you can use the TV's ports and the audio will be passed through to the soundbar. There is an LED display on the bottom right of the soundbar which shows which input you are connected to. There is an LED display on the bottom right of the soundbar which shows which input you are connected to. This display is quite bright and it's fortunate that you can dim it to turn it off with the remote otherwise it could be distracting. I've found the Movie mode setting with Surround On give the best output for most viewing and it's easy to flick through the modes if you need to change it. You can also quickly adjust bass and treble with the remote through dedicated controls which is handy. The soundbar volume can also be controlled by the Hisense TV's remote so this means I can stick with one remote for most viewing. The soundbar itself is quite wide and given the limited space on my entertainment unit I wasn't able to place it comfortably in front of the TV stand. It does sit ok resting on the front of the stand and this doesn't seem to affect the sound. If you have a similar setup I would recommend wall mounting the TV which I plan on doing in the future. The Hisense U5120G is a great addition to the TV for that cinematic experience!

Music fidelity is awesome and more than adequate bass and volume when needed. Exemplary surround sound. Cant wait for the satellite rears being available. Not necessary as the experience is fantastic without them but will complete the package.

Its okay. Doesn't really emulate sorround any better than a cheap soundbar. The best part is that it syncs with the TV well. Going from a 5.1 actual sorround sound setup to this was a very big downgrade, but it does save space. Overall I regret this purchase.

First one of these broke within a day, and the second one broke after a few weeks. Both times I was in the middle of watching something when they just stopped outputting audio. There was no bringing of bringing them back to life, no matter how you tried to play audio through it. Audio quality while it worked was pretty average.
I loved the sound for 1 week when it died and had no sound. 3 weeks later after firmware upgrades it still doesnt work. Hisense have arranged for me to get my money back. It seems this model has a common problem and until they sort it out its best you stay away. Pity really as I really liked it
Sound quality is average. Would be nice if is a smart soundbar. Have to play Spotify via driect Bluetooth connection, annoying and troublesome. Very slow to turn on under ARC, around 5s after TV is turn on. Atmos quality not noticable.
This soundbar is value for money and packs a pretty good punch with a few adjustments to suit your listening tastes. I am taking advantage of the Dolby Atmos and surround sound features. It provides good tv viewing sound with enough surround effect to throw sound around the room similar to a smaller surround sound setup with say a couple fo rear speakers behind the listener. The bass is enough to let you know its there and is quite adequate for music. Its a good allrounder.
I'm no expert when it comes to soundbars, and I was a bit bias with purchasing given I already had a Hisense TV. Setup was very simple, and I didn't even have to pair the wireless subwoofer - it connected as soon as I gave it some power.I purchased this at a discounted price, but even at the original price I think this soundbar is adequate for most who are looking to up their standard TV sound game. I'm waiting for Hisense to release the rear wireless speakers to assess the full surround experience, but so far I can't fault it. A friend has a Bose soundbar, but I don't think there is any significant difference between the quality of sound. If anything, having the subwoofer packs more of a punch.
Its simple installation and quick pairing is just awesome. Its got to be the best experience that Ive had and its great when listening to music or action movies too. This is the ultimate sound improvement that anyone can buy. Very satisfied.
The only thing wrong with it is that it doesnt have a big name like JBL or BOSE. it packs a strong punch and with plenty of clarity with its 12 speakers. Dolby Atmos brand requires the performance and soundstage as advertised to be fulfilled and it is awesome. The material finishes are high quality and i'd also say durable. It comes with a HDMI cable and ATMOS will work with any pass-through HDMI connection with ARC or eARC which they all seem to have.
