I received this product as a member of the community. I have tried teeth whitening products a few times, and found they whitened my teeth for only a few hours after using (which is fine for an event or a night out). I found that these did the same. These strips definitely improved the colour of my teeth and I'm happy to continue to use them, I just wish they had more information included in the pack.

I applied the slightly peppermint flavoured strips to dry teeth as instructed, they adhered well and stayed in situ for the 30 minutes process time. I did not experience any teeth sensitivity during or post treatment which was really good. Unlike previous strips I've tried which provide immediate whitening (by at least two shades) after the very first use, these PAP strips had no whitening effect whatsovever although my teeth did look temporarily more shiny. As there is no specific directions on pack regarding how long the course of treatment should last, I know from past experience that most recommend courses are either three or five days so I continued to use the strips daily for five days in total. Disappointingly, these strips were completely ineffective and failed to whiten my teeth even by one shade. Overall, I think if you've had your teeth professionally whitened these strips could be a good maintenance option for you but as a stand alone whitening treatment, unfortunately I am unable recommend them and will stick with my usual brand. Both PAP whitening and peroxide-based teeth whitening treatments use oxidising action to break down stains and lighten tooth appearance. As part of this process, peroxide releases something known as free radicals. I was sent the Superdrug HiSmile Pap+ Strips as part of the Superdrug Community to test & give my honest review. Iâve never used whitening strips before so I was very curious about them, I like that they come in a small compact box. I found it strange wearing them for 30 minutes & I had to press them down a few times on the back of my teeth at first but then they stayed on fine, I didnât see a big difference from the first use but after the second & third use I can definitely see a difference in the whiteness of my teeth but itâs not a big difference (I donât smoke or drink red wine but I do drink coffee). I received this product from Superdrug as a member of the Community, first impressions were good, quite a generous amount of strips enough for 14 applications (28 strips in total) individually packaged, instructions for use say to dry teeth before application which I did, the strips applied nicely to my teeth and stayed in place for the suggested 30mins process, the strips had quite a pleasant taste which surprised me with being a whitening product. After the suggested 30mins process time I removed the strips with relative ease, a slight residue was left behind but that was easily removed with a damp headed toothbrush. Not really, they are definitely brighter and shinier but not whiter. These strips are cruelty free and vegan, very easy to apply and remove with no chemical taste. Quite comfortable to wear and didn't cause any sensitivity in teeth or gums. Overall opinion my teeth are brighter, but no real effectie whitening for me, pleasant enough to use and i shall use remaining strips, but would i buy again, im not sure. Maybe I have unrealistic expectations of just how much whiter my teeth should have been after 4 applications.
