A really underrated Hitman title that delivers a good linear story and some really good stealth mechanics, an enjoyable game all around, highly recommended. Played this game a couple of years ago on console (PS3) and I played the hell out of it. There are some upgrades from the previous game that are often overlooked (I will talk about this below). For example, guards will not straight up shoot you but they will ask you to leave and if you just walk around, you can hear the NPCs talk to each other and for some reason I really enjoyed this feature about the game. Now let's mention the new feature that can be good or bad depending on the individual playing. The disguise system has been changed in a way such that people that are dressed like you can see through your disguise. For example, let's say you dress up as a cook, you better not walk in front of another cook or else he/she will be triggered and call you out. I often see criticism from so-called 'hard-core' fans that its a terrible yada yada and from what I see, I think I know why they might have this opinion. Compared to the other Hitman games, this one is very focused on the story and less on what made Hitman a Hitman game, which is : killing a target as a professional assassin. In this one, you are pretty much on the run from the agency and follow 47 in this journey. Which means, there are a number of missions/locations thatdon't involve killing a ''target'' but involved performing either a specific task or just retrieval missions. This is really the game for you if you want to see a more human side to 47 and you like a good story. The game plays itself like a movie and sometimes you might just play a level just to relive this specific moment.

As a fan of the previous Hitman game collection this game was a must buy (and a bargain!) It does differ in regard to the newly added "Instinct Mode" whereby you can slow down time/more effectively blend into your surroundings with your disguise which I believe is a positive for the game. There's also the new feature of 'create a contract' where you can choose a level and choose the weapons/criteria/targets for the level making the game endless in terms of the possible missions and playing styles. Adding to this is the online function of taking part in competitions either created by yourself or by others online where you are ranked on a national/global table with the score you achieved. Points accumulated leads to a choice of weapon upgrades and weapon purchases ... MoreAs a fan of the previous Hitman game collection this game was a must buy (and a bargain!) The story mode itself is very interesting and exciting for fans of the Hitman series as it details a fallout between the Agency and 47 and offers many detailed and exciting levels that can be played with the usual different choices on how to complete them. So it's really your choice if you want to complete objectives in order to be a silent assassin or to go in all guns blazing, or a little mix of both. Achievements are unlocked for completing different actions within each level that can be finding hidden items/using different disguises/completing your objectives in a specific manner which all add to the fact that each level offers numerous enjoyable plays. Unlike previous Hitman games you do not have a direct choice of choosing your weapons prior to each mission but this is not a major problem thanks to the many different weapons available in each mission! Overall review 4/5 Stars - definitely worth a try for any fan of the series!

So I gotta tell you, being hearing-impaired, I can't tell you if this is a "quiet" drive, but it doesn't bother me, noise-wise. So there's that. Other 'n that? This has been exactly what I wanted for my Xbox One: a significant expansion in storage space, and I've found that the load times have been essentially no different than I'd expect from the on-board hard drive. Oh, I'm sure it's somewhat slower just because of the USB 3.0 data transfer, but the difference hasn't been noticeable to me. It takes up essentially the same amount of desk space as the 1 TB I bought for my PS4, but it isn't blue. That makes ME blue. That's my only gripe. Go buy one.

I bought this hard drive for Time Machine backups on my MacBook Pro. The refurbished drive looks new and backed with Western Digital's 2-year warranty. For this low price ($41 shipped) and the reliability of WD drives, it's a worthy investment. I find the drive to be pretty quiet, light, and reliable so far. Highly recommended!
This is a great little drive. It has a great price too. I have two of these already so adding two more was an easy decision. The previous drives were used as full hard drive image backups. These will be used as data backups. My VAIO laptop uses 2.0 USB ports. I did a full file-by-file no compression backup of an Essentials desktop WD drive to this drive and it took about 20 hours for 2 TB! I believe I should have done a "clone" rather than "backup" because I wanted to see the individual files and folders. I just wanted to be able to swap out the drive in case the source were to fail. Then just reassign this destination drive as the original drive letter. The drive looks nice too. It can be driven using a single USB connector.
No problems with my computer recognizing it and it reads and writes fast. I don't notice any lag with my games loading. I had bought this one because it was cheap, planning to replace it with an SSD later, but it's fast enough where I don't need to bother doing that. I'm really surprised at the quality for the price. Only time will tell if it lasts though, so far it's been working perfectly though.
Its okay, but its not what a Hitman game was supposed to be. It all started when the rumors came out that IOI wasnt going to have David Bateson voice Agent 47. Then people petitioned to keep him so they used him. I think they replaced Diana though. The missions are all linear. Once you advance to a new area say goodbye to the area you were just in. Doesnt matter how much or how little you explored the area. If you completed the objective for an area you can not return once you advance to the next area. The gameplay is different from all the other Hitman titles. You dont pick your load out. Its automatically tailored to each mission. If you love the Hitman franchise and must play every game, get it as cheap as you can, like $10. As for someone that only wants to play ... MoreIts okay, but its not what a Hitman game was supposed to be. As for someone that only wants to play good Hitman games, skip this title. All the rest are great games. The new Hitman 1&2 are back to the Hitman roots. IOI requested and listened to feedback from the fans and tailored the new games to what fans said they wanted after Absolution had received complaints about the gameplay.
Small 2TB HDD with read/write about 120/120, usually around 80/110 when copying large files. USB male end of cord means it plugs into anywhere, great use as a video streaming medium between a workstation and a laptop (I can hold entire Netflix seasons on here!) Overall, great mega USB and a great find for about $20-25 per TB if you can get them used. Phenomenal gift for the tech person in your family! Its hard not to love larger, faster, and more versatile storage capacity than even a USB 3.1
I mainly bought this because it was the best price for Hitman Absolution but it was a bonus getting two more games with it. Hitman Absolution is a good game, I used to have Hitman 2 on PS2 and wanted another Hitman game. This one has better graphics and is kinda hard, but I enjoyed the storyline and the gameplay. I used to also have a Turok game on an older system so was excited to also get that. This game is pretty hard and I don't care for the controls at all. The graphics aren't that great either. I haven't tried the soccer game. But again I just mainly got this bundle for Hitman.
Pros: This is WD's basic external hard drive for those that want to manually copy the files they want, when thy want, an easy process for many that prefer this over using backup software. I have purchased several refurbished models (3) from the WD factory store and all worked flawlessly and the price is right. Cons: Really the only one is that the formatting used does not work on the old XP OS, The drive can be reformatted to an older version (ie exfat) that is not as good. I forgot that and was frustrated trying to copy some large files from an old computer. Really not the drives fault that they moved on to a newer and better format. I left it as is and used a different method since it works fine on Windows 7 on up.
