Hitman Absolution goes above and beyond the previous Hitman installments and as it should since it's on the next gen consoles. Agent 47 has a plethora of options when it comes to carrying out contracts; it's all up to the player whether to use stealth or use brute force. Plus the game comes with a contract mode to challenge other players. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite games. There is loads of ways to kill each target, and also a larger number of levels than the previous game (Blood Money).Certain weapons can be upgraded (though for use in other modes, not in the main campaign) and there is evidence to collect in each level that will increase you rating, and get you a trophy / achievement. For those who haven't played a Hitman game before, this is definitely the one to start with, as it is alot easier to play if things get out of control an guards everywhere are trying to kill you.Stealth is still most definitely the main focus, but it is possible to play it as a shooter if things turn bad :)I only have 1 complaint, being that the number of weapons that can be upgraded is quite limited, though if ... Hitman Absolution: Professional Edition is very exciting, especially after the last episode Blood Money to find again Agent 47 in a new story. I'm not disappointed! This episode is very amazing, harder, and surprising! Fight against the agency, the competition in the armory, and the idea of creating and playing other players' contracts - it's fun! This opus is the best of the saga Hitman. And if you don't have it. Buy it! Agent 47 has never had so much style, elegance, and especially personality. And the variety of choices and angles of attack, the ways to kill targets have never been so realistic.

Its okay, but its not what a Hitman game was supposed to be. It all started when the rumors came out that IOI wasnt going to have David Bateson voice Agent 47. Then people petitioned to keep him so they used him. I think they replaced Diana though. The missions are all linear. Once you advance to a new area say goodbye to the area you were just in. Doesnt matter how much or how little you explored the area. If you completed the objective for an area you can not return once you advance to the next area. The gameplay is different from all the other Hitman titles. You dont pick your load out. Its automatically tailored to each mission. If you love the Hitman franchise and must play every game, get it as cheap as you can, like $10. As for someone that only wants to play ... All the rest are great games. The new Hitman 1&2 are back to the Hitman roots. IOI requested and listened to feedback from the fans and tailored the new games to what fans said they wanted after Absolution had received complaints about the gameplay.
I can't believe how cheap this game is pre-owned! And then when I received it; OMG; it was like perfect condition, like no one touched it! Big bulky collectors edition box with sleeve, that's book like when you slide it out of the sleeve. Not only that, the game is awesome itself! BUY IT if you can get it for $4-$5; it is very much worth it!
I've fully played through this game 3 times now and even replayed certain levels many more times to either increase my score or unlock achievements and challenges. I could never get sick of this game as there are so many ways to go about completing all of the missions. You can make the deaths of your targets look like complete accidents, snipe them from afar, go full on rambo mode and destroy everything, or even turn certain characters against each other and let them do the work for you. Also, the "Contracts" online game mode is very simple, yet very enjoyable, and does NOT require Xbox Live GOLD to play! All available contracts are possible to complete as the creator needs to perform the specific challenges themselves before they upload it for others to play. The ... The DLC weapons that come with this edition are extremely helpful in Contracts mode too, and make it so much more enjoyable. The hardcover art book is an excellent souvenir if you're a fan of the Hitman series and contains some amazing concept art plus more. The behind-the-scenes DVD is super interesting to watch and I guarantee that any fan of the Hitman series will really enjoy watching it. Hitman Absolution: Professional Edition is always sold at very low prices during MightyApe's gaming sales and I would seriously reccomend this edition to everyone, as it doesn't cost much more than the standard version and is absolutely worth it for the bonus content.
Hitman Absolution: Professional Edition is really the best of the best that I've ever experienced. The controls feel just right, there are lots of ways to complete every mission which adds to the replay value. The contracts mode actually acts as a mission editor where you can change/make your own objectives from the game's main campaign missions. This adds the best replay value making Hitman: Absolution one of the most addictive games that its genre has ever made!
Just to give you an idea, I have played hitman since the beginning of the console franchise which is Hitman 2, Contracts, Blood money. So on to Absolution.Hitman has never been one for in depth story mostly because the character is silent and deadly. But with upcoming games becoming more story focused hitman delivers. The game play has the same feel as the originals with the new addition of "sense" (a tool to help keep you hidden and see potential paths)This game has gotten some flack but to be fair times change and I feel this is still very on course to the original. The collectors edition is an interesting C.E. the packaging is amazing and probably one of the best collectors box sets out there. I am relatively new to the Hitman titles having only played 1 or 2 of the older ones and haven't played all the way through one ever. Pick up Absolution on a recommendation and loved it. Great mix of Splinter Cell like stealth, and run and gun action. So many different ways to position yourself in a level, various environmental pieces to use for kills, and challenges that make you want to try it all make for enjoyable and challenging gameplay while allowing multiple playthroughs for different styles and to see how many different ways to accomplish missions. Which in many case is A LOT! Really loved this game. The story is a bit cliche (probably just have played too many games and watched too many movies) but isn't bad at all. Kept me interested. Been playing it for a few days now and there is so much ways of completing one objective, I mean literally many many ways, All silent, guns, blazing, mixture of both, or more on one side or the other, then it comes with the challenge of making it work the way you chose to do it with little stress as possible. (MUST HAVE FOR HITMAN FANS)Storyline: Not much is there because that is how the past has been just get an mission attack it get the job done and you off to anotherChallenge GmePlay: Very challengingGraphics: Few cracks here and there but nothing no new game suffers from ( Well Done)Audio: Does a good job to let off clues as well as relaxing.Multiplayer: I have not attempt it yet (but still do not stop you from getting the game)
