Comfortable helmet even with eye glasses. Kind of noisy. Shell is a bit oversize

Bought last year. My first helmet.I like the sun visor. It's easy to adjust while riding, and I don't have to wear sunglasses. My prescription glasses fit comfortably with helmet on.The fit is good for my head. The vents are sufficient to keep the visor fog free and my head cool enough. I do see the corners of my visor fog in the cold, but it's minimal.Wind noise. I can hear traffic and my exhaust, but the wind noise is ever present. My first couple rides this spring, I found myself wishing the chin curtain was bigger/extended under my chin more. My morning commute is between 28* and 35*F and my lips get cold even with both chin vents closed.Would buy again, but there are some things I'd change given the chance.

Decent general use helmet

Needed something for highway biased travel, and longer rides with changing lighting. My Scorpion Covert X is great in stop and go traffic, cool, breezy, but loud and not aerodynamic at any sort of speeds. The F70 Tino fit the budget and had orange accents to help make it more visible, not that anyone sees you anyway. It is notably more quiet, and aerodynamic. However I'd still want earplugs for speed. In town traffic it's considerably warmer than the Covert X, like dear God it's hot at 28° C.Also, small bugs can end up inside the venting system, especially if you ride without a screen. Finally, my head is in the middle of the medium size range, and I find it squishes my cheeks, yet also is a touch loose on my head.

Excellent.

Excellent fit for my oval head. Relatively quiet on my stock Bonneville. Very nicely finished...what's not to like?

Great Helmet - slightly noisy
27 April 2023

Just finished my first ride with my new F70 helmet and I wanted to list my pros and cons here. Keep in mind I am coming from a Sedici Strada II so this was a bit of an upgrade for me and definitely the most I've spent on a helmet. I rode for ~3 hours with mostly highway miles but some backroad twisties as well. Aesthetics influence purchases like these pretty heavily so, all in all, if you like the way it looks and are comfortable with the price - buy it! The safety, comfort, and design are all top notch.Pros:Lightweight and aerodynamic - it was fairly windy today and I would've been getting a bit of a neck workout in the Strada II, there was noticeably less wind drag in the F70The shield - love the position of tabs to open/close the lid they are low and left ... MoreJust finished my first ride with my new F70 helmet and I wanted to list my pros and cons here. These feel very high quality and are probably my favorite thing about this helmetComms- nice internal routing for speaker and microphone cablesColor! - I got the black/orange and it looks incredible, everything you'd expect when spending this much on a helmetCons:Wind noise - as others have stated there is a bit more wind noise than i am accustomed to but not by much and the overall feel of this helmet is so much better than my previous one that it doesn't bother me personally. However if you don't ride with music on or earplugs in and wind noise bothers you..I would probably look at a different helmet that is known to be more on the quiet side.Changing the visor - requires a phillips head screwdriver, not a big deal but the strada II doesn't require any tools to change out the visor so this is slightly annoyingChin strap - kind of uncomfortable compared to strada II but I wore it for 3 hours and was fine but definitely a noticeable difference in comfortComms- mounting my cardo was a bit difficult to get the clip to slide down on to the helmet probably would use the sticky mount if i had to go back and do it again. my 45mm speaker just barely fit in the recessed area designed for speakers, i'm not aware of a larger set but if you have something bigger it will not fit

Great purchase

I really like this helmet. It fits very nice. Good field of view. The drop down sun visor was a big thing I wanted. It looks great and hopefully I never have to test out how well it protects the noggin?.

HJC F70 Tino
12 September 2021

My fourth HJC helmet, have had Shark and Arai, but always go back to HJC. This F70 design is great, nearly matches my bike. Fit is slightly tight but will ease off, you can feel it supporting right round your head, not felt this before. Fantastic visibility and air flow. Inner tinted visor comes down below or match front face guard which means really great shielding against wind as I ride with clear visor up 95% time, best I have had. All in all great helmet for great price.

HJC is my Brand!
13 August 2023

I have numerous HJC RPHA helmets. So, I was somewhat reluctant to purchase an HJC F70. What I realize now is HJC makes a Great helmet, period. To me, a solid helmet is boring. I like the graphics options of the HJC brand.

Just what I was looking for

For the price I paid for this helmet, it was an exceptional value. The build quality is fantastic. Much better than my old AGV that I purchased in the late eighties... and I only paid $20 more for this helmet. I really like all the features, like the ventilation system and the secondary tinted shield. The fit may be just a little tight, but it's much better than having a loose fitting helmet. I think the extra large would have been slightly loose on me. The only complaint I have is that the date code on the helmet is from 2020. Most manufacturers recommend replacing your helmet every five years, but no one does that unless it is a requirement for use. My AVG shell is still fine. The inside components are deprecated, but still usable.I liked this helmet so much I ... MoreFor the price I paid for this helmet, it was an exceptional value. The build quality is fantastic. Easy to contact customer service if you had any issues, or needed to add something to your existing order for something that you forgot.

Love it
24 August 2022

So this is only my second helmet and I bought it after reading the issues with the built in visor. Personal I have not had any issues at all! Maybe they changed something but everything is working great. I also put the 20b smart set in and it also fit and works great. Very comfortable, great ventilation. Check pads are tight at first but relax slightly after wearing.
