I previously had the SHARK modular helmet and while its price point was $130 higher, it felt like a better helmet, its movement, vents and sunshade operation were all easier. The top vent is very sticky and takes considerable force to open with a gloved hand while riding, and the sunshade is a thumb operated slide at the jaw instead of overhead and it too is not as easy to find or easy to adjust. The overall comfort of the helmet is great and I love the way it looks.

1. Uses double d loop strap. I prefer this as ratchets dig into my Adam's apple.2. Helmet is very creaky3. Sun visor is a very generous size compared to other helmets4. Fits well after I returned my Large and got an XL replacement. The modular feature is nice but for some reason, it tends to direct air right into my eyes if I'm going at or above 45 mph. Might just be the shape of my jacket or head. It has cutouts for bluetooth speakers which is nice. My only complaint is the chin strap. It is very annoying to fasten when you're wearing gloves. My old $100 helmet had a much better chin strap by a long shot. Otherwise, it's a good helmet

Great fit really smuga bit twiddly at first but easy to get used to has a sun drop down visor & comes with anti fog screen really pleased with this purchase can’t fault it
The helmet is great and a very good fit and all round great features. My only criticism is that it’s advertised as Matt black and what I received was semi flat black.
I really like this helmet the way I can use it as a open face with sheild up or down when in stop and go traffic and then make it a full face when jumping on the highway. I use a sena headset and ear plugs so for me I do not get bothered by how loud the helmet is but it is a noisy helmet (wind noise) but I can feel th3 air flow good in my head and have had any issues with the shield foggibg up it has a pin lock on it
So far it's a great helmet. It does everything as advertised, is very comfortable, and reasonably priced.
Great quality helmet with several riding positions that work great. Shipping was fast. The value for the helmet is great you even get a pinlock shield included. The only flaw of this helmet is that its not as quiet as i had hoped but its not bad all modulars are rather loud.
Had the helmet on two break in rides.Performance is good, helmet is a little heavy but not bad. My Sena 50’s works well with the helmet. I like the locking mechanism on the side that keeps the movable section from moving until you unlock it. Proven HJC quality and durability.
I love the functionality on the road. Flipping the chinbar up and down moves the visor into place each time, which is super convienient (but awkward when removing the helmet. A fair tradeoff). Not a lot of venting though. The speaker placement is perfect for me though, as it's right near my ears and I don't have to crank the volume as high.
