Works well with glasses and otherwise an awesome helmet. Rarely fogs up (on the most foggy days)

Very quiet, feels good, well balanced, not heavy, and was completely stable at speeds other helmets were not. Mechanisms felt good. I don't love the double d ring compared to quick release, but not the end of the world. If the drop down sunglasses were an inch or two longer they would fully dim my field of view, but I understand that may be an issue for people with big noses. Maybe longer visor with a click position most of the way down would work.

It fits well. I just don’t feel very secure wearing this helmet, it seems very cheaply made. I don’t think a helmet should be able to flex so easy with very minimal effort The shell is very soft it dents, caves in super easy. I’m unable to retur. It unfortunately so I’m out $231… the shell is china quality that’s forsure. So I’ll just toss it to the trashcan because I’m not gonna give a helmet away that isn’t up to par to ride a motorcycle. I wouldn’t even let a kid wear this on a push scooter. It’d probably do more harm than good. Honestly.. Jan 1 2023…

Air flow is good, particularly under the shield, which allows me to keep the shield lowered even at lower speeds without fogging. Comfort is OK - it's tight on the cheeks, but I think that will break in. It could probably do without the shield lock, but I'm able to release it with my gloves on, so It's OK. The drop down visor is great - it comes down lower than some other brands, which is helpful.With the vents and drop-down visor, there is certainly some noise, but it's a low-pitch, so it's not bad. I tried a similar Scorpion helmet that had a high-pitch scream, so this is much better.It seems very light weight, which is nice. I looked at one of them and I just decided not to try, it would've hurt trying to get my head out of it.The HJC i70 fit me really well. The helmet shell isn't overly large so you shouldn't feel like a bobble head. It is a bit snug when I put it on but I sat and watched TV and played some games with it for 30 minutes at a time or more. I took it for a spin and it definitely seems to fit well. I had considered ordering some smaller cheek pads but I would say give this helmet a shot first before doing that.As far as how the helmet preformed:I would say that it has nice airflow when moving, pretty warm when standing still. I did ride a night however, so it may not preform as well during the day.I didn't notice much wind noise at the 45 mpg range but that is a fast as I've taken it so far.Face shield seems to fog when it wants to but you can pop the face shield up slightly and I had zero fog problems.

This is a great helmet, UNTIL the visor attachment hardware (NOT HARDWARE) JUST JUNK PLASTIC SCREWS! break.When you helmet attaching hardware (cheap plastic) breaks, the screws in the repair kit are CHEAP (VERY CHEAP WEAK plastic. If you turn them over 1/4 turn they break off leaving the threads in the helmet! The parts are C--P. Did I say Crap! Well they are. To begin, as with the prior review, my helmet smelled heavily of chemicals. It was a new helmet smell, fresh from production I would describe it. I put fabric softener sheets inside for 2 nights and that cleared it up. My last HJC was a medium so that is what I ordered. The cheek pads were super tight and after about an hour my forehead where the hairline is was very uncomfortable. I've had it close to a month and it has broken in nicely. The cheek pads are no longer extremely tight and my forehead no longer is in pain. The breath deflector doesn't do squat. I fogged that sucker up really fast. Luckily the shield is Pin Lock ready as one is going in. I also like the extra space to fit speakers. My last HJC didn't have that. The sun visor is a welcome addition.

Airflow is fine at highway speeds, and on hot days in stop-and-go traffic I leave the face shield a crack open.I really like having the built-in sun visor. While it could be a bit darker, it's dark enough so that I rarely bother putting on my sunglasses. Since I am facing the sun both mornings and evenings, I applied a strip of black tape to the top of the sun visor. Now I can completely block out the sun by just lowering my head a bit.With the helmet out in the airflow, the wind noise becomes uncomfortable at speeds of 50mph and above. The face shield's closing latch is held to the shield via a small screw. After about 1.5 seasons of riding I noticed that the shield was actually cracking around the screw of the latch and I replaced it.The second issue I had is that the internal sun visor no longer fully retracts. The spring mechanism has either worn out or has gotten dirt/debris in it so that now when I hit the button to retract the visor it only goes about halfway and I have to slide it back the rest of the way.Other than that I don't regret buying this helmet, just don't expect it to last more than about 3 years before you start to get the itch for a new helmet. I could keep wearing this (I'll keep it as a back up or passenger helmet) but now I'm wanting something a bit higher quality and with a better safety rating than just DOT.
