Really quite good for the money. I don't think much time was spent testing ventilation with the internal visor down as I can feel condensation on my upper cheeks with it down. The internal visor was more of a light smoke, I have ordered a dark smoke outer visor for the summer commute and go back to the flip down in the winter months. I would say this one is (relatively) quieter than my previous HJC CL-17.

I had an Icon airflite before Owning this helmet, definitely a huge Improvement. less wind Noise super comfortable to wear with no pressure points. And paired it with the HJC 50b headset that it was made for it specifically. It has awesome sound and easy to use.

Got this helmet as an upgrade from the i10. Looks great. I will say though. It's a little on the heavier side. The shell itself is pretty big. There's one small vent in the chin and one on top. Not the best in flow. I live in Florida and definitely felt the difference on my first ride. Also in terms on coms compatibility there really isn't any other option unless you plan on buying the new 21b or 50b from HJC. The helmet has a lip over where the clip would go for every other system. The visor works great and the adjustability is a huge plus.
The helmet is pretty it self, comfortable, doesn’t hurt the top of the head. For the noise it’s quiet, but less quiet with the wind at 120+. Love the part on the chin.I use Cardo and it works well.My only concern is that I can’t find a tinted visor anywhere. But for this price the helmet is really worth it.
This helmet offers a lot of good things without breaking the bank. It decently light with a drop down visor and ability to add a bluetooth communication capability. The Pinlock eliminated fogging and the ventilation offers good flow. The padding is soft and comfortable and never feels irritating. My only complaint is that the main visor won't stay in the cracked position once you get moving at a decent speed. I was only using it for fogging, but the Pinlock took care of that. Hopefully once the temperature rises the ventilation will offer enough flow.
I purchased the helmet; it being my first full faced helmet after 45 years of biking.I have a HJC snowmobile full face helmet that I have used for the last 4 years and found it quite good; so I had no reason to think the bike helmet would be any different in terms of quality, etc.It did not disappoint; venting has improved, shield and pop down shield work very well.Only negative is the buckle. Seems a tad short but not a deal breaker. For my budget; this helmet has met my expectations.
This helmet is a big improvement over the GMAX ATV helmet that I was wearing on my road bike. Far more streamline and much quieter. I love the drop down sun visor. The ventilation is adequate but not great. I have to crack the exterior visor on humid days until I get on an open road or it fogs up. I works well with eye glasses which is a big plus for me. The styling is very nice IMHO. The chin strap with the double D rings is a pain. The straps are way too short and it is a chore to get it secured. For the price, it is a great helmet and I would buy it again.
Really like the fit and the ventilation. However the helmet is louder than what I've worn before. Also not a big fan of the design of the exterior visor is difficult to move and has only one lift tab.
