Here at Urban Rider, the HJC V10 has been one of the most anticipated helmets in recent memory. The V10 sports a slightly aggressive, retro design but is packed with modern safety features and creature comforts. The fibreglass composite shell of the V10 makes for a very safe yet delightfully lightweight helmet. The V10 is produced in three shell sizes, so you don’t have to settle for a huge helmet if you’re on the lower end of a shell size bracket. In fact, the V10 is a very sleek and compact lid even though it passes the latest ECE 22.06 safety regulations with flying colours. Everything about the V10 screams quality. The paint finish is flawless. The liner is sumptuously comfortable. The crystal clear visor locks with a satisfying click and can easily be swapped out without any tools via a clever pop-up bolt (other brands take note!). A Pinlock anti-fog insert is included in the box, as is a removable chin curtain. The cheek pads have quick-release tabs for emergency services. There are cut-outs for comms speakers and at the back of the helmet, you’ll find a recess for HJC’s own Bluetooth communications units, developed with market leader Sena. HJC have done a stellar job packing all this functionality into a helmet this sleek and they have kept the branding to an absolute minimum, with a classy metal badge adorning the jaw of the helmet. The V10 fits intermediate to oval head-shapes and everyone in the UR offices was amazed about the universally comfortable fit. Highly recommended!
