It’s been a really useful tool to adjust the ph, turns out the drop kit I had left the ph too high. The plants are really happy and thriving even more since I’ve been using this ph meter.

Much better than those really cheap Chinese sh@t you see for sale, which get stuck on a false PH after a few months and wont reset. When you ask for help they ignore you. With this you have everything to keep it working for longer.
Works well and has a solid design. While the screen is not backlit I have no troubles seeing the numbers. I like the hold function so I can freeze the screen when I take it out of the water.
It's hard to read the results. It's dark and the plastic coating is very reflective. Be nice if there was a backlight.It is half of the reason for having a meter, testing the solution and then viewing the reading. I haven't had it long so I guess I will adapt(and get a headlamp :))
The $12 PH meter I got from ebay was more reliable than this. It routinely went out of calibration despite spending even more money on electrode storage fluid and even more on calibration fluid. I got fed up with it today and smashed it on the ground after It started giving me false readings a few hours after another recal. That's if the recal even works.
It is impossible to dip it in my res and read it, no backlight and way out of calibration right out of the box. I guess im back to pulling samples and reading them in the kitchen where I can see the numbers on this thing. As always, the Indoor Farmer team made sure all items in the order was secure during shipping. Thanks team.
I was sceptical at first but tried it as per instructions and it worked awesome. I know I can relax now about the ph for my plants. Going to try it in my pool to check ph for it.
The ph pen model ph-80 works great love the accuracy but def miss the led glow of the old cheaper one I had as its really hard to read in bad lighting would def get 5stars then
Not only did I receive this item in quick time, but I was able to use it immediately and get fast reliable readings. Do follow the directions and put the fluid in the cap to keep the meter wet. It makes all the difference. Other meters don’t come with the balance fluid for the cap. Love this meter.
