This is the first review I've ever done because this is the best running shoe I have ever owned. I use them mostly for long or easy runs, and they are 10/10. If you look at them on the shelf, I think they look a little "bulky" but that's not how they are at all while running! Highly recommend.

Was a big fan of On Cloud Cloudflyer 4’s until I tried these. Life changing shoe with decreased posterior heel and hip tightness. Major difference in mid sole rocking for easier heel to toe transfers. Would highly recommend for anyone!

The Clifton 9 is a great update to the 8! Just as much cushion and support in the new version. I do find the 9 fits a little more true to size. I typically wear a 12, and had to go with a wide size in the previous Clifton 8, but the 9 fits great at the normal width! Excited to keep putting miles on these!
I like the shoes. The color is great and the overall "ride" is solid. However, the tongue, laces and upper kind of hurt me. Almost to the point of shin-splints. Not sure if it is the way I tie them or just the fit.
For me, Hoka is the best. I have used all the brands; for my needs and fit at this time, Hoka suits me the best. You will enjoy them & find a wide choice of models. One of them is definitely what you want. Enjoy!
I started going to the gym and needed a good pair shoes for walking and the gym! These fit the bill perfectly, they are very comfortable and I would recommend them! I wear higher end shoes for work, but these a great.!
I can't tell you why this shoe is giving me so much grief. From the start it felt not quite comfortable. I've had 2 pairs of Clifton 8 before this and never felt this way. Maybe it's because the base is harder, so doesn't seem to absorb as much impact. The actually impact is lot louder. I've actually switched back to my Clifton 8 that have over 500 miles on them and they're more comfortable. Will be returning these.
I was a huge fan of the Clifton 8, mainly because of the cushioning and the absence of injury from using it. I used about 3 pairs of the previous version, hoping that this one wouldn't be much different. I was extremely happy to find out that this new version is more "springy" and doesn't lose the plush feel of the classic Clifton. I found that this updated version allows you to pick up the pace more than the previous version and I've been able to have tempo/sprint efforts in these more than I would before. Highly recommend as I've used it for long runs (15-18), recovery, and some tempo runs.
Hoka / Cliftons are the most most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! Clifton 9 are just as good as the Clifton 8. I like how they support wide feet! I tried Asics for a year and felt too much shocks while running. With Hoka's you don't feel the shock at all.
