I was extremely disappointed because the shoes I tried on in the store fit me absolutely perfectly! But I didn’t want black so I ordered the purple online and they fit very differently!! They dug into my ankle bones quite painfully! I tried wearing them around my house to see if I could break them in a bit but they were so uncomfortable I had to return them! I’m so disappointed because the ones I tried on in the store were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn!

I ordered these 1/2 size up like I usually do with running shoes, but I had to return these because they were too large...but I did immediately order them in a size smaller. They are very pretty, but more than that, incredibly cushy and shockingly light. I'm very fussy about shoes because if I run in shoes that aren't supportive enough I get pain in my hips and knees, but if they aren't soft enough, I have pain in my feet. These shoes seem like they will satisfy both based on my little jog around my apartment - excited to take my better fitting pair out this weekend. I highly recommend checking them out.

I purchased the Mach 5 by Hoka when there was 20% discount which made them cheaper than the previous Mach 4 version! Sadly despite feeling nice and bouncy and being aesthetically pleasing, these were too large so I returned them. I wanted to order the smaller size but the discount was no longer available on the website. I emailed The Sports Edit and asked if they would honour the 20% discount so I could purchase the smaller size. They were very kind and gave me a new discount code for my next order. The process of purchasing and returns was very smooth and customer service very good. Sadly the smaller pair of trainers weren’t the right fit either and needed returning, but I would recommend using this website.

I bought these sneakers to start running again. I never wore them more than 2 or 3 times a week and never ran longer than a couple of miles in them. I've had them for 4 months and they are completely worn out. I would NOT recommend these sneakers to anyone. For the price I paid I would have thought they would have lasted much longer. Don't waste your money.
They’re lightweight and comfortable but they’re made very big.The European and American sizes don’t seem to line up. I would refer to the European sizes on these as that’s what worked for me.I’m always a size 7 (usually a 37.5-38 European) but had to size down to a 6.5 (which in this model is still a bit larger than a 38 European). My recommendation is to try them on first or buy them in store to avoid having to pay the return fees.Shipping is fast though and returns are processed quickly so that’s a plus.
I didn't want to believe all the hype around Hokas, but this shoe resolved all of my feet problems within 30 days. I over pronate in both feet, and had deep calluses on the bottom of both feet. They have a snug fit that prevents my feet from rolling inward, at the same time providing the right amount of cushioning.I wear them every day since I do a lot of walking, and definitely will buy another pair in the future.
I bought Hokas because my PT recommended them for my achilles pain - I got the Mach because the other styles were just a lot of shoe and these seemed to be the most streamlined. They were fine for walking around in but when I went to take a run OUCH all over my feet and calves. Tried them a couple of times but had to stop running because of the pain. When we looked the heel drop is quite small 5mm. Other people seem to like these shoes so maybe its just me, but I haven't ever had so much pain even from cheap Big 5 running shoes.
these shoes are amazing. I apparently just left a review on the men's shoes. I bought the white' women's shoes at the store and went back online to get the other color that was not in stock--the neons. I got both pairs from scheels and I could not be happier. im a fitness instructor so I'm using the neons for class and teaching and the whites for casual. the perfect shoe. I have switched from reebok.
I purchased the white Hoka shoe but it is definitely not white. It looks kind of light grayish-white in some light and in other like it has a pinkish-white look. There are three layers to this shoe- the upper, midsole and sole and all three are different colors of “white”. The white and copper sounded like a good combination but it’s a fail because of the white being so off! The comfort is good but this particular Hoka is very big/clunky looking when compared to my rincons. Again, it is comfortable though. I normally wear an 8.5 in tennis shoes and that’s what I purchased in these. They fit with a little extra room, which I don’t mind. Unfortunately I may have to return these simply based on the bad color of white.
The whole Mach line has been very stable and very comfortable with one exception: the insert where your foot rests is way too thin and tends to wear out quickly. Since I run/walk on relatively hard surfaces it really matters that the insert supports me and I expect at these prices that it will last more than the usual 2 or 3 months. I have to supplement the dying liner long before I would expect to have to do it. Excellent product with a faulty part!
