These are the best pair of shoes that I've ever had! I love everything about this shoe, including the price because of the quality, comfort, durability of these sneakers. I was searching for a good walking shoe for the spring and summer that would support my heavy feet and heel spur. This knit sneaker is breathable and light, yet it lacks nothing when it comes to support and comfort. My job can sometimes consists of alot walking and standing , these sneakers have been a life saver. Not to mention, love the bright colors! I receive some many compliments on these sneakers.

These have to be my favourite Hokas, and I’ve been wearing them for 15 plus years ! I love how light they are, the tow box is wide, as well as the whole shoe, which I love because my feet get hot and swell in hot weather. I wear an 8.5 in most Hokas I love that they are all one piece attached, no fiddling with the tongue of the shoe.I haven’t ran in the wet or rain as of yet, but I believe that the shoes will dry up quickly! I love the addition of the back support on the heel tread. I think it will be beneficial when running on unstable or multi levels of road.

So comfortable and light! Best running shoes I have ever owned. I do recommend sizing down by 0.5 - I did as I saw someone else suggest this and they couldn’t have been more right! I am normally a size 10.5 in sneakers and sized down to a 10 and they fit perfectly! I have wide feet and they don’t squish me at all. The colours definitely have more of a green tone - I thought it was more yellow.

I really like this shoe so much that I have it in 3 different color combo's! I'll highlight what I like most and then the cons....first off I will say I jog/run and walk in these daily 2-4 miles. I'm not a trained athlete, I do not run marathons so I wear what feels good on my feet to stay healthy and active. With that said , the pro's of this shoe are it's very light, I love the 5mm drop and the different color ways are fun! Now, a few things that could be better at least for me is I don't have a lot of padding on the bottom of my forefoot so I usually have to replace the insoles with a little more thickness. I had morton's neuroma surgery years ago on one foot and so with the nerve gone i just need a little more padding as I found the insoles to be very very thin. ... MoreI really like this shoe so much that I have it in 3 different color combo's! I had morton's neuroma surgery years ago on one foot and so with the nerve gone i just need a little more padding as I found the insoles to be very very thin. I'm sure this works for those who run miles upon miles, I just need a little more cushion to protect my foot from injury. I also found I had to go down a half size in these compared to the Clifton 9's which I think could be because they are all knitted one piece shoe. I just had too much free space to move around in the forefoot mostly the top of the foot and then I would like to say the laces are way to long as I have to double knot them so they aren't flopping all over the place. One more thing to add I do a runner's heel lockdown lacing on all my shoes and with this shoe it is impossible. Because of the one piece it's weird how the lacing is anyways. I have looked at the 1st version of the Carbon X , but have never worn them and I think I would like these even more if they went back to look more like a traditional running shoe on top of the foot with a separate tongue and all. At the end of the day I do enjoy my workouts in these shoes and wear them as daily run errands shoes.
This shoe is threat but only Fiordland a short time. The outer sole is so soft that after 5 weeks of about 40km per week they have worn through to the carbon plate at the front. Not a cheap shoe and definitely not a training shoe for durability. They also have very very little traction in the wet. If you accidentally hit a wet road marking they may as well be ice skates.
I purchased these as my physiotherapist recommended a metarocker shoe for improved foot turnover during speed work. I normally don't run in Hokas but was pleasantly surprised by the ride..not super cushion-y but very responsive. The toebox was roomy enough without being sloppy. The knit upper secured my foot well (although it's been a negative experience for many people based on reviews). My only minor complaint is from the rubbing of the upper on the front of my ankle. I will purchase the CarbonX again.
I am a true size 7.5 for all shoes except running shoes. I usually like to give myself extra space because I have to wear thick socks in the cold. I purchased a size 8 and they felt like size 9. I exchanged for a 7.5 and they felt like 8. I had to return the 7.5 because my feet would literally shift and slip in them even though I laced them very tight. I love HOKA but these shoes are not functional at all. They do not support your feet when you're trying ti brisk walk or run.
I am a Division 1 distance runner and I’ve seen many complaints about these shoes not being comfortable to stand in or walk around in….these shoes are designed with a carbon plate and are designed for long distance races or workouts (which even then is only occasionally). In my opinion, any shoes that are designed for racing I would never wear for comfort because they are in fact, usually uncomfortable and awkward to wear around. Make sure to do your research before investing in shoes y’all! :)
I really struggled with returning these because they feel great to run in, but they are very wide in the toe box and come up too high on my ankle bone. They fit perfectly otherwise. Perfectly hold the foot. That being said, it didn’t hurt or rub my ankle bone, but I could feel it touching the whole time. I tried insoles and it was awful; these provide awesome support as is. Thanks to nordstroms awesome return policy, i’m trying in a half a size down hoping this fixes the issue. I also ordered another model just in case because hoka’s are so supportive. I like this model better than the clifton, as that hurt my foot for no reason, but these just make me want to run. They feel awesome and i love the unique split black and white colorway; they make your feet look so ... MoreI really struggled with returning these because they feel great to run in, but they are very wide in the toe box and come up too high on my ankle bone. I ran on these a few times a week in preparation for a trail 100k (mostly training on pavement and inclined treadmill). I've also worn the Speedgoat and Torrent. On pavement and treadmill they have absolutely reduced stress and soreness and probably given me a boost of about :30 per mile on average (I run most days at an easy pace, and have used these for both easy runs and workouts). I find these much more smooth and low-profile than something like the Nike Alphaflys, which just feel bulbous and awkward, almost like wearing platforms.I actually decided to wear these for the last 25 miles of my (emphasis: trail!) 100k, because they were my least worn-out shoe option at the time, and they held up amazingly well on steep packed dirt terrain, some gravel, and gave me ... MoreI ran on these a few times a week in preparation for a trail 100k (mostly training on pavement and inclined treadmill). Definitely not their intended use, but the fit and lightness was a welcome change for tired legs and feet.I have a slightly wider forefoot, a bit of overpronation on my left side, and find that these fit well and give me adequate support. They are certainly not stability shoes, but they don't aggravate anything for me.
