Comfortable and Light

These shoes are really comfortable. I’m usually a Nike guy so style was important to me. HOKA tends to be a little out there with style but I finally found their most subtle style and grabbed these. I’m really happy I did. They look great, they are comfortable and light, and they provide the support I need for my knees and feet to walk my dogs daily. I would just hope they start calming down the color patterns so I could find more options.

Comfortable, not particularly durable.

This is my second pair of HOKA Rincons, and in both cases they have been very comfortable but not particularly durable. In line with research done before purchasing the first pair, they are an enjoyable shoe to run in for an average runner but you can expect to replace them at least once a year depending on your exercise frequency.

Good shoes!
13 February 2022

Great colour, sizing works well for me! Usually wear a 9.5 and ordered a 9.5 and the fit works.Shoes are definitely good, different compared to the Clifton line, a bit less cushioned but like a lot of reviews say, if you're looking for a shoe to up the pace then these are the ones.Definitely durability is improved compared to previous versions but still not as good as the Cliftons.

Great shoes for a great price
9 October 2022

Have been watching for a good deal on a new pair of Hoka running shoes as they are my go to shoes for walking. The delivery was super quick as usual and I was very happy with them when I looked them over and tried them on. Highly recommend Altitude Sports and these shoes.

Hoka fixed something that wasn’t broke …
22 January 2022

Rincon 1 was a nice shoe. Light, cushioned but not as pillowy as the Clifton. Only problem was the durability of the outsole, which has apparently been addressed in the 2 (which I can’t speak to) and the 3 that I bought recently. However, inexplicably they took the nice padded tongue in the 1 (and maybe the 2) shortened it and made it thinner in a sharper v shape that cuts right into your ankle like pincers. Almost unwearable now. I don’t recall reading reviews of the Rincon 1 where people complained that the tongue was too comfortable. Hopefully Hoka will put back the padded tongue in Rincon 4.

Hoka smooth ride
29 August 2022

Bought these runnig shoes to replacean old pair of Hoka One One, The ride is smooth with the shock absorbtion, specially for me it has to be like that for my bad knees. Fully satisfied with them. For the quality, will see on the long run if they worth the pair that I had.

Should’ve bought them sooner

These are great. Like others have said they are very lightweight and cushioned but not in a way that it’ll change your balance. They are very stable and offer good traction on anything dry (haven’t gotten out in rainy conditions yet). I wear 8.5 in my Salomon shoes, I had to buy a 9 in this model as the 8.5 was slightly too small. The 9 is larger than what I’m used too but the fit and comfort are perfect. I honestly don’t want to run without them!

Smooth as butter
30 October 2021

This definitely builds off the previous version quite well. It has more cushion and stability. It feels very smooth whether you're doing a recovery run or running intervals. The only issue is that it still doesn't have a long life, it only makes it to about 5-600km before the cushioning breaks down. Otherwise highly recommend in your training arsenal.

Very happy
2 June 2022

This is my second pair of Rincons and I am still very happy with my choice. These are insanely light, responsive for speed work but also very comfortable for long easy runs. Alot of talk about the non-gussetted asymmetrical tongue, it's a non-issue for me. At 150+ kms in, the wear on the rubber treads is showing, so not the most durable but that's the price to pay for feather-light shoes. Wouldn't buy any other shoe for all-round training.
