Since I started purchasing Hokas three years ago, I have not quit. They are the best shoes I’ve ever had and prevent even my thin metatarsals and tendency for plantar fasciitis from keeping me off my feet. I’ve had both the Rincon and Clifton varieties and loved them both. However, these are a grade below my last Rincons. In the first place, they’ve replaced the cushy tongue with a thin one that tapers like a stiff bandaid. It literally cuts into the top of my foot under the laces. I can’t figure out why they would choose to eliminate padding there. Second, the footbed in general is not as cushioned as all my other Hokas, which is irksome: the main reason I have become loyal to this brand is the superior cushion and comfort that has prevented injury. My last Rincons made me feel I could fly; they were light and fast. These just don’t seem as nimble. That said, they are attractive and probably still better than many other brands. But I had anticipated the arrival of this shoe and it just didn’t deliver.

I stumbled across these shoes by chance, I originally came in to try on the new Endorphins however due to no stock I stumbled across these. I've been running in the ON Cloudstratus for years, they were okay but so heavy which felt like I was slapping the ground during runs.Transitioning to the Rincons was easy, I had my doubts at first with the size of the heal in the Hoka's but was pleasantly surprised. The slopping of the sole creates and almost propelling effect when you run. In my first week I ran 40kms in my new Rincons and they felt incredible and light to run in.If your used to a more firm shoe it may feel Strange at first, But you will be surprised. The materiel breathes too which is a nice added bonus.Sizing is true. I'm a 6.5 standard, Worth trying ... MoreI stumbled across these shoes by chance, I originally came in to try on the new Endorphins however due to no stock I stumbled across these. I'm a 6.5 standard, Worth trying on the shoe if you have a wide foot as they may be considered a slightly narrow fit. I have a slightly high arch, it was no trouble to add in some insoles - Plenty of room left in the shoe.I've really enjoyed my transition to the Rincons and recommend them to anyone doing or planning to begin long distance running.Fantastic for your half marathons and time trails.

Great daily trainer for the price!Zero break in period, comfy right out of the box. They are EXTREMELY light weight, and soft under foot. While they are a neutral shoe, they feel stable underfoot due to the wider outsole (compared to a shoe like the Saucony Endorphine Speed). I’ve put 47km on mine so far, and the rubber on the outsole is showing no signs of wear yet.I’ve heard some people find it to be a bit narrow, but that is not [entirely] the case for me. The upper fits like a standard, medium width shoe, however the insole feels the slightest bit narrow. Basically I can feel the edges of the insole underfoot. If you’re a bit of a shuffly jogger (I am sometimes with MAF training), the wider outsole may bother you as it can drag on the ground a bit, so these ... MoreGreat daily trainer for the price!Zero break in period, comfy right out of the box. I find they just scrape the ground on the lateral edges if you don’t pick up your feet enough.I’m a fan, and would definitely purchase again.

I first bought a pair because i saw my personal trainer wearing them. I bought a pair after just getting brooks when i started going back to the gym. I have got to say these are the most comfortable pair of shoes i have ever owned and give great support when working out. I even forget im wearing shoes at times because of how comfortable they are. I got my first pair on Jun 2nd and im happy to say i have bought 2 more pairs since then. Another for me and my mom. My mom has severe knee pain with no cartilage in her knee and all shoes were still causing her to have knee problems but after her owning a pair of Hoka shoes she doesn't have the intense pain anymore in her knee. I highly recommend these shoes.
These shoes are fire🔥!! I brought the pink and purple ones, the colors are vibrant, and just make the shoes cool looking! I was hesitant to buy these, especially without ever trying this brand on before. I have been a diehard nike shoe wearer for over 20 years, but these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've EVER worn! Sorry Nike, but I'm switching to HOKA. They are made well, and in my opinion are super light! I'm a nurse that works 12.5 hour shifts so imma bout to put them to the real test, but I am super excited, and satisfied (which is a feat in itself)! Alright HOKA!
Just received my 3rd pair of Hoka runners. Rincon 3 are my favourite model and I was afraid they would be discontinued as I see new models becoming available, and more expensive. I walk a lot, I’m not a runner, and can say wearing these for 8+ hours a day is totally doable. My feet don’t burn as they do in other brands of runners. My granddaughter even told me all the kids are wearing Hokas at her high school!!!I plan to wear these on our upcoming European river cruise. Best running shoes EVER in my opinion.I love Altitude Sports, fab product line and delivery is top notch!!
They’re not Clifton’s, that’s for sure. I have 2 Clifton’s (7&8), Bondis and honestly I just didn’t like the colors for the Clifton 9 so I thought I’d try out the Rincon 3.The tongue is unlike the other Hokas. Thin and stiff and it does make it awkward to find the sweet spot to put them on. Unlike the other styles Rincons are not buttery soft out of the box they feel like they need to be broken in and somehow they run a little bigger than Clifton/Bondi.That being said they are Hokas (that’s why 4 stars) so they are still better than some other shoes so I’ll just use them for the gym.I would not buy them again. I do not recommend to a friend.
I bought a pair of HOKA Women's Rincon 3's and paid R2199,00 for mine in the store but when I returned them to the store they couldn't help me with a bigger size and told me to order them online has the online shop has the size I require. I was assisted with the online purchase and then paid R2599,00 for the exact same shoe. I was not happy that I had to pay R400,00 more the shoes but made the purchase. The pricing of the shoes seems to be a big problem between stores and within the stores. One price inside the box, another outside the box and just for final measure when you get to the till the price is also different. The prices are increased on existing stock even though the shoes are not the new style. Wont be supporting Sportsmans Warehouse again.
I want to love these shoes, they feel amazing at first, but on long runs (6+ miles) all the flaws show through in blisters on my feet. I have mild bunions forming, the one on my left foot is worse. I ordered Wide after doing short runs in other Hokas for a while, but they still rub along the side of my foot right where the sole ends. If you look from the top, the shoes are almost perfectly straight. So unless your wide feet are still straight from heel to toe, these may not work for you. I wish Hoka would change the shape to a more natural foot shape. FWIW, I've had no problem with the tongue or lacing system, and the weight of the shoes and feeling of the cushion is excellent.
The Hoka Rincon 3 has exceeded all my expectations! These shoes are incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect cushioning for my runs. I couldn't believe the value for money – high-performance at an affordable price. The only tiny improvement I would suggest is better ventilation for the feet during intense workouts. Nonetheless, the overall performance of the Rincon 3 remains fantastic, making it a top choice for any avid runner. As a first-time customer with Altitude Sports, I was impressed by their speedy delivery and outstanding customer service. They ensured a seamless shopping experience from start to finish. I'm thrilled with my purchase and will undoubtedly be a loyal customer moving forward!
