I'm a 6.5 standard, Worth trying on the shoe if you have a wide foot as they may be considered a slightly narrow fit. I have a slightly high arch, it was no trouble to add in some insoles - Plenty of room left in the shoe.I've really enjoyed my transition to the Rincons and recommend them to anyone doing or planning to begin long distance running.Fantastic for your half marathons and time trails.

Great Daily Trainer, Great Price

Great daily trainer for the price!Zero break in period, comfy right out of the box. They are EXTREMELY light weight, and soft under foot. While they are a neutral shoe, they feel stable underfoot due to the wider outsole (compared to a shoe like the Saucony Endorphine Speed). I’ve put 47km on mine so far, and the rubber on the outsole is showing no signs of wear yet.I’ve heard some people find it to be a bit narrow, but that is not [entirely] the case for me. The upper fits like a standard, medium width shoe, however the insole feels the slightest bit narrow. Basically I can feel the edges of the insole underfoot. If you’re a bit of a shuffly jogger (I am sometimes with MAF training), the wider outsole may bother you as it can drag on the ground a bit, so these ... MoreGreat daily trainer for the price!Zero break in period, comfy right out of the box. I find they just scrape the ground on the lateral edges if you don’t pick up your feet enough.I’m a fan, and would definitely purchase again.

I have been using hoka trail shoes and wanted to try their road offerings. I have the mach 4 which are great but hard to go slower in so I decided to try these for more daily runs. They are so light! When I got the box it felt empty! Love the colorways on the upper but note the tongue is really short for some reason so I changed up the laces to help. They are cushiony without being soft and perfect for daily mileage, easy runs, recovery runs. I think I'd prefer a more engineered upper and bounce for a longer run but to be fair I haven't done runs longer than 10km in them yet. I sizes up half a size because they are narrow. I think they fall in the same category as the Saucony Axon which I think is slightly better but it's personal preference.

Irritating stitching on this style
12 August 2022

This is my second pair of Hokas. I LOVED the first pair. This pair is not made nearly as well. The exposed stitching on the tongue (on both sides) is causing irritation on my ankles. I think I’ll tear it out and try flying the pieces together. If I don’t, I won’t be able to wear them unless I wear long socks. It’s disappointing. My first pair did not have any exposed stitches, and was more comfortable. I’ll know to look for that next time and avoid styles with this tongue stitching. I do not recommend this style.

LOVE THEM!!
30 December 2022

These shoes are fire🔥!! I brought the pink and purple ones, the colors are vibrant, and just make the shoes cool looking! I was hesitant to buy these, especially without ever trying this brand on before. I have been a diehard nike shoe wearer for over 20 years, but these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've EVER worn! Sorry Nike, but I'm switching to HOKA. They are made well, and in my opinion are super light! I'm a nurse that works 12.5 hour shifts so imma bout to put them to the real test, but I am super excited, and satisfied (which is a feat in itself)! Alright HOKA!

Love Hoka Rincon 3
13 April 2023

Just received my 3rd pair of Hoka runners. Rincon 3 are my favourite model and I was afraid they would be discontinued as I see new models becoming available, and more expensive. I walk a lot, I’m not a runner, and can say wearing these for 8+ hours a day is totally doable. My feet don’t burn as they do in other brands of runners. My granddaughter even told me all the kids are wearing Hokas at her high school!!!I plan to wear these on our upcoming European river cruise. Best running shoes EVER in my opinion.I love Altitude Sports, fab product line and delivery is top notch!!

Odd Fit Compared to Previous Versions
20 August 2022

I run outdoors approximately 30 miles a week. I really liked the previous versions of this shoe as they had the Hoka cushion, but are lighter than the Clinton and Bondi (however, they do wear out more quickly). This version is not good -- it is overly firm, the construction feels like there is more cushion on the outside which causes my foot to rotate in and creates knee pain, and the tongue is super thin and slips down. Hokas have been the only shoe I have owned that prevented knee pain, but unfortunately it is not true for these. I do not recommend buying this version of the Rincon.

Shocking
14 March 2023

I bought a pair of HOKA Women's Rincon 3's and paid R2199,00 for mine in the store but when I returned them to the store they couldn't help me with a bigger size and told me to order them online has the online shop has the size I require. I was assisted with the online purchase and then paid R2599,00 for the exact same shoe. I was not happy that I had to pay R400,00 more the shoes but made the purchase. The pricing of the shoes seems to be a big problem between stores and within the stores. One price inside the box, another outside the box and just for final measure when you get to the till the price is also different. The prices are increased on existing stock even though the shoes are not the new style. Wont be supporting Sportsmans Warehouse again.

Still trying to figure these out but def bruised my foot!!!
25 July 2022

I have been a brooks running shoe for several years. Due to back and knee pain along with a crooked style run, I tried out Hoka for more support. The first time I ran in these, it felt like running on air which I liked. However the tongue of the shoe was not super comfortable no matter how many times I adjusted it. I also wear these for orange theory workouts that consist of running, rowing, and weights. These feel extremely unsupportive in these activities and in fact really hurt the bottoms of my feet for weights and kill the top of my foot on the rower. I’m only a week into them and only wear them an hour a day. They have completely bruised the top of my feet. I’m passed returning them as I wanted so badly for them to be my perfect shoe. Toe box not roomy enough, even on Wide
5 June 2023

I want to love these shoes, they feel amazing at first, but on long runs (6+ miles) all the flaws show through in blisters on my feet. I have mild bunions forming, the one on my left foot is worse. I ordered Wide after doing short runs in other Hokas for a while, but they still rub along the side of my foot right where the sole ends. If you look from the top, the shoes are almost perfectly straight. So unless your wide feet are still straight from heel to toe, these may not work for you. I wish Hoka would change the shape to a more natural foot shape. FWIW, I've had no problem with the tongue or lacing system, and the weight of the shoes and feeling of the cushion is excellent.
