The HOKA Rincon 3 for women are neutral running shoes. These third version of the Rincon are lightweight training shoes for long distance runs. The Engineered Mesh upper provides excellent breathability and is very light in weight. These characteristics don't just define this third version, but are generally true for the Rincon model. The lightweight material makes the shoes excellent for running fast tempos. The tongue is lightweight and asymmetric. The loop on the heel was seen in the previous version and returns in the Rincon 3. This heel tab makes it very easy to put on the shoes. The midsole and outsole have stayed the same as in the previous edition. The EVA midsole provides excellent cushioning without weighing down the shoes. The Early Stage Meta Rocker technology ensures a smooth midfoot-to-toe transition The outsole is made of strategically placed rubber parts. Thanks to these rubber parts, a full-length outsole is not necessary and the shoe isn't weighed down by unneeded rubber. The EVA material is very durable and lets you enjoy these Rincons for a long period of time. The Flex Grooves in the forefoot provide flexibility and grip.

I love the Orange one I bought for its best color combination of the top and the side of the cushion color! It is very comfortable to wear them. When I bought it, I did have a concern when I see the bottom of the shoes about its durability and sturdiness. So I wore them carefully, and not as often. Since this is really the only pair of color I would really like and I hope it can last for me. But very sad after I being so careful with less wear, I still discovered one day in the bottom of the shoe, one of the portion peeling off. And I sadly had to return it. It was within one year. I told the store that I did not wear that much and I have never seen any sports shoe being so easy to break. The manager at the time still try to tell me there is sign of being worn. Even with minimum wearing for about 10 months, it should not have the bottom break off. I was not happy that she expect this as a new shoe when I returned, and I truly did not even want to return it. Because this is the best color and shoe design among all the Hoka line, and most comfortable for me to wear. and I could no longer find my size to purchase another one. I just wished HOKA used more durable material. Not to fail me in less than 10 months with the most careful and less frequent wearing.

I stumbled across these shoes by chance, I originally came in to try on the new Endorphins however due to no stock I stumbled across these. I've been running in the ON Cloudstratus for years, they were okay but so heavy which felt like I was slapping the ground during runs.Transitioning to the Rincons was easy, I had my doubts at first with the size of the heal in the Hoka's but was pleasantly surprised. The slopping of the sole creates and almost propelling effect when you run. In my first week I ran 40kms in my new Rincons and they felt incredible and light to run in.If your used to a more firm shoe it may feel Strange at first, But you will be surprised. The materiel breathes too which is a nice added bonus.Sizing is true. I'm a 6.5 standard, Worth trying ... MoreI stumbled across these shoes by chance, I originally came in to try on the new Endorphins however due to no stock I stumbled across these. I'm a 6.5 standard, Worth trying on the shoe if you have a wide foot as they may be considered a slightly narrow fit. I have a slightly high arch, it was no trouble to add in some insoles - Plenty of room left in the shoe.I've really enjoyed my transition to the Rincons and recommend them to anyone doing or planning to begin long distance running.Fantastic for your half marathons and time trails.

I bought these a couple of months ago to replace my Torrent 2. I loved the color, but unfortunately these didn't work for me. I have very thin/sensitive feet and the tongue really irritated the top of my foot and kept slipping down. I also have plantar fascitis and these didn't provide enough cushion for me. It wasn't too painful while walking, but was very painful when driving or standing. I had to return them. On the plus side - I got many compliments on the color! I am going to try a pair of Torrent 3.

I first bought a pair because i saw my personal trainer wearing them. I bought a pair after just getting brooks when i started going back to the gym. I have got to say these are the most comfortable pair of shoes i have ever owned and give great support when working out. I even forget im wearing shoes at times because of how comfortable they are. I got my first pair on Jun 2nd and im happy to say i have bought 2 more pairs since then. Another for me and my mom. My mom has severe knee pain with no cartilage in her knee and all shoes were still causing her to have knee problems but after her owning a pair of Hoka shoes she doesn't have the intense pain anymore in her knee. I highly recommend these shoes.
I purchased the Rincon 3 to use for treadmill running only, as I wanted my Clifton 9s to get a bit more life on road/trail and was tired of cleaning them for indoor use. I ordered the same size as my Cliftons and the fit was perfect. Rincon 3 are less cushiony than Clifton 9 but have been a comfortable, economical choice for indoor running. It's nice to have a few models as options in a pinch in case budget or availability or intended use are constraints.
I have been using hoka trail shoes and wanted to try their road offerings. I have the mach 4 which are great but hard to go slower in so I decided to try these for more daily runs. They are so light! When I got the box it felt empty! Love the colorways on the upper but note the tongue is really short for some reason so I changed up the laces to help. They are cushiony without being soft and perfect for daily mileage, easy runs, recovery runs. I think I'd prefer a more engineered upper and bounce for a longer run but to be fair I haven't done runs longer than 10km in them yet. I sizes up half a size because they are narrow. I think they fall in the same category as the Saucony Axon which I think is slightly better but it's personal preference.
Spent 1 hour with customer service to be told that my new Rincom 3 Evening Sky shoes which are leaking blue dye and staining my socks is not covered under warranty. Unbelievable. I offered to send pictures of my destroyed socks but he suggested I just blot the shoes with a warmth cloth to remove the excessive dye. As an alternative, the agent suggested I could exchange the shoes because I bought them November 28th but that would mean I would be probably 1 month without shoes - unacceptable.
Let me start by saying that REI did indeed take these shoes back as we are members....I bought these in 8/23 because I wanted a lightweight but sturdy shoe for a 3 week trip and then for everyday when we returned. I was told when I bought them that they would not last as long as the HOKA more expensive shoes but figured I was not a runner so they would be fine. Fast forward to January 2024 (5 months). The bottom of the shoes were falling apart and the shoes were no longer wearable. Sadly I do not have pics as they were returned. I have other brands of sneakers that are years older and much less expensive that are still in decent wearable condition. When I returned them to my local store the employee was nice but informed me of the following.1. I have other brands of sneakers that are years older and much less expensive that are still in decent wearable condition. When I returned them to my local store the employee was nice but informed me of the following.1. These are not for daily wear, they are for your "fast" days if you're a runner. Nowhere on the REI or HOKA site does it say this. In fact the reviews for these shoes mostly are by nurses, moms etc that say they wear them every day.2. I was told at the most they should only be worn every other day.I had been told on another visit (same REI) AFTER I purchased the shoes and was questioning their durability (at about 2 months in) that runners wear these once and throw them away.So in conclusion if you want something for daily wear that will maybe be good for 2-4 months great. If you value your money and are not a runner these are not for you. I realize serious runners are a group in themselves but most of us don't have $120 to spend on shoes that don't last. The online descriptions of these shoes should reflect the realities of their lifespan and usage.
I want to love these shoes, they feel amazing at first, but on long runs (6+ miles) all the flaws show through in blisters on my feet. I have mild bunions forming, the one on my left foot is worse. I ordered Wide after doing short runs in other Hokas for a while, but they still rub along the side of my foot right where the sole ends. If you look from the top, the shoes are almost perfectly straight. So unless your wide feet are still straight from heel to toe, these may not work for you. I wish Hoka would change the shape to a more natural foot shape. FWIW, I've had no problem with the tongue or lacing system, and the weight of the shoes and feeling of the cushion is excellent.
I thought $110 was a bit steep for a shoe, but I've had so many of my friends in the healthcare industry swear by these shoes so I sprung for a pair and boy I was not disappointed. I always joke that I'm a half million dollar woman (fake hip, surgically enhanced feet, lubricated joints) so I am very particular about my footwear. I only wear Brooks, ASICS, and New Balance. This shoe is so light and supportive. They feel even better when I use them to walk on the treadmill and lift weights at the gym. I'll be looking at their sandal selection next.
