These have been my go to recovery sandals for a long time - so comfy! I went to buy a new pair and now all they have is gender neutral. IMO it is more like a mens shoe now in looks and fit. I have average width female foot, and it is WAY too wide for me where before it fit perfectly. I imagine it is snug for a mans foot unless they have narrow feet. Just a bad fit overall. Also, the material is more plastic-y. Used to be nice and soft. Back they go and I'm on the hunt for a replacement.

Bought these as I cannot wear anything but ora slides. I was so excited by the new colours, I decided to give the new style a try. What a world of disapointment. They have added a bar at the back of the heal which i assume is to hold your foot in place and add comfort and cushioning. This bar has to go!! This is the opposite of comfort. This is not a help on an injured ankle. It sends a vibrating jolting pain up my hal through to my ankle. The design causes my heal to actually step on the bar and then rubs until it jolts back into place. This action causes pain everytime. The older style shoes felt like I was stepping on little clouds. They actually help you walk with an injury due to the rocker style. These unfortunately hinder my walking and do not make use of the ... MoreBought these as I cannot wear anything but ora slides. The heal cushion bar and new design makes your foot have to go back into a position everytime instead of allowing it freedom like the old style does.No where near as comfy as old design. 😕 usually love this brand. Disapointed.

Love them so much I have an indoor pair AND an outdoor pair. Only bummer is they won't fit wide feet like mine. I was going to sadly return the first pair but found a method for re-sizing (uggggh) Crocs. Hold-em upside down in a frying pan of almost boiling water for about a minute. Have socks on and immediately slide them on to feet at the right spot. Stand still until they cool off. The beauty is that this is reversible. Heat them again and they have the memory to go back to stock!

I have a pair of the original Ora's and loved the soft feel, support and rolling action of the foot bed. They also surprisingly held my narrow foot in place!I purchased a pair of Ora's last year and fell out of love as the foot bed was more rigid that my first pair! The new Ora's they have won my heart back with the same feeling footbed as my first pair! I also like the new look of the forefoot and they extended heel cup area.Size is true to fit! I just wish Altitude Sports would have had another colour option!
I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and achillies tendinitis. I have extreme pain that I am unable to walk. I started researching recovery slides and saw many positive reviews for the Hoka recovery slides so decided to order. I think Altitude Sports has a good return policy which influenced my decision. It also turns out to be the best decision I made! As soon as I put them on I feel the support in my arches and feel less pain in my feet. It has been a few days now of wearing them 24/7 and slowly feel my feet starting to recover. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for recovery slides and look forward to purchasing another pair. It helps the style isn’t too bad… reminds me of Yeezys and the sand colour is a nice light neutral. Thank you Hoke and ... MoreI was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and achillies tendinitis. I have extreme pain that I am unable to walk. These shoes are the most well designed slides available! After a total knee replacement this winter, I struggled to find a shoe that could be worn around the house that was comfortable and was not a tripping hazard. My initial assumption was that the height of these slides would encumber my gate, however they have been instrumental in my surgery recovery. I wear them everywhere when I need something fast to slip on and trust that they are supportive. If you can get past the peculiar aesthetics, this is the slide for you!
Now I am a massive Hoka fan, but this goes down as the most horrible shoe/sandal I have ever purchased for my feet, period. Just walk bare feet with a 1/2 a golf ball taped your foot arch, that feels the same. Also, the back of the shoe rubs on your heel which just feels rather odd. And your feet sweat unbelievably in them. They're not in the slightest but cushiony either unlike other Hoka sandals and the material choice is plain wrong. Think bare foot in rubber gum boots! Needless to say this was a massive waste of money.
Super comfortable general purpose slides for around the house as well as for walking at the beach or on pavement. These replaced my Oofa sandals which I had for a number of years. These are more stable than the Oofas. The Hokas offer very good arch and forefoot support for a max cushion style sandal. Definitely my new go to for long walks while in Hawaii :). However, these are definitely not sandals for hiking or treading through streams. After all, these are recovery sandals!
I am on my feet all day and as a result, have developed bone spurs in my heels. I put these slides on immediately when I leave work and on my days off. They’re like nothing I’ve ever tried before! So cushion-y it feels like your on clouds. After a few hours of walking in them, my feet recover. I highly recommend these. Be aware that they run large. For reference, I usually wear 8.5 in most shoes, and my feet are not wide. I got an 8, based on reviews, and feel I might be able to fit in 7s. They are amazing!
Initially, 3 stars because I couldn't get WIDE size for my wide feet. Took a gamble on these as indoor "slippers" but they were too narrow to even put on. I could tell they would be awesome but I was all set to depressingly return them. THEN, out of desperation, I googled something like "resizing rubber sandals" or something.Found links to re-sizing (ew) Crocs. Decided to gamble on my new sandals that my feet had never worn. What I did (from google research) is heat a frying pan of water to near-boiling. I put on two pairs of socks (might want to start with one), per instructions, then held sandals INVERTED (so sole-joint didn't get too hot) with just the over-the-foot part in the water. After about a minute, took them out, threw them down, and my socked feet slid ... MoreInitially, 3 stars because I couldn't get WIDE size for my wide feet. That was a month ago and I'm wearing them now as I type.TOTAL 5-STARS NOW !!!!! I love these immensely.
