The Rincon 3's are amazing. I don't know why everyone is giving them so much hate for the thin/short tongues. These tongues are great, I can't even feel them when I'm walking or running. In the past, I've had tennis shoes that have thick tongues that rub my ankle and can give me blisters, not with the Rincon 3's! I can't say enough great things about these shoes. They give you a spring to your step and my foot, knees, and ankles all feel supported. The shoes are light and airy which makes them a joy to wear working out or just getting from point A to point B! It's like walking on water or a cloud. I love love love the colors too!

The fit is ok. Prwtty comfortable, overall. However, I developed a sharp pain across the top of my right foot part way into a treadmill walk to test the comfort. I have flat feet, so testing by walking is a necessity. I'm not sure what caused this, but I assume it is the shoe as I have a different model of Hoka that do not do this.

Excellent fit and comfort. The only down side is the light color. I cannot wear them in rain(puddles), gardening (dirt). They not washable but carefully wipeable. My darker color of rincon 2 are the same fit and have eased my knee pain. I have an unprepared ACL and at 66, I still put 7 miles on these shoes daily between treadmill and other activities. My previous favorite running shoes did not give me the stability on rocky terrain to keep my knee aligned as well as my Hokas do. It will be awhile before I workout, work or travel in other shoes. And they are so light!

Sales person told me the shoes were not for use over long time. Said they were light and for a marathon. She pointed to ridges on the sole - seeming to say they wore down quickly. But the cushioning, which has made my other ROkAs so comfortable, seems to be missing. So although they are very light, they don’t protect the sole of my foot from the ground. My feet get ‘tired.’
Very lightweight running shoe! The only issue I have it that they aren’t the best for HIIT. I attend Orangetheory and these Hokas are great for tread, but aren’t supportive enough for weight floor with doing planks/plank jacks/etc. I’m not a person who has arch problems at all, so to say they lack support for me-someone with arch issues should pass unless using inserts.
I tried a handful of models and these were by far the best for me - they're light and airy and made me feel like I had spring on my feet, giving me a cloudy feeling for both running and walking. Two of my friends bought the exact same ones after seeing them on me/hearing me gush about themI'm usually a very true to size 7.5 but ended up buying them in a 7 and they fit like a glove, definitely recommend sizing down half a size. Otherwise perfect fit!
I run 40-60 miles per week on average and I love these shoes. I have used all iterations of the Rincon and these do not disappoint (although the tongue is a little weird, but doesn't cause problems for me). They are light, fast, responsive, AND also cushioned. If these ever change I will be devastated! I have raced a marathon in these and would do long runs in them as well, but also have no problem using them for speedwork. They are just that good! For reference, I am 110 lbs and a midfoot striker. My regular running shoe size is 7-7.5 and I wear a 7 in these (no change from previous models).
I want to love these shoes, they feel amazing at first, but on long runs (6+ miles) all the flaws show through in blisters on my feet. I have mild bunions forming, the one on my left foot is worse. I ordered Wide after doing short runs in other Hokas for a while, but they still rub along the side of my foot right where the sole ends. If you look from the top, the shoes are almost perfectly straight. So unless your wide feet are still straight from heel to toe, these may not work for you. I wish Hoka would change the shape to a more natural foot shape. FWIW, I've had no problem with the tongue or lacing system, and the weight of the shoes and feeling of the cushion is excellent.
I have a pair of the Rincon 2's. Compared to those, I'd say these are slightly less cushioned and about 1/2 a size smaller. I have a size 6 in the 2's and I had to size up to a 6.5 in these. Hokas in general run a little big. I am usually a size 7 in hiking boots and running shoes. As usual, the toe box is a good size. I think these are on par for average width, not too wide, not too narrow. That being said, I think they are too cushioned to run in (for me). This is because one's foot has to compensate for all of the movement from the bouncy cushioning. I work in healthcare, and I walk 3-5 miles on each of my 12+ hour shifts, and I stand all day long. My feet do not hurt and never become fatigued. No blisters ever. The pink color is super bright and happy. So happy ... MoreI have a pair of the Rincon 2's. My feet don't hurt after a long day of standing on them. I had a total knee replacement and aco worker recommended them to me. He told me about the Rincon 3. Even though I am nota runner I do have a low arch. My feet feel great! I just ordered another pair in black!!
