I bought these March 3 and because of snow didn't even start to use them until late March. They do not last long. By 300K (and less than 2 months after purchase the heel padding was falling apart and the treads were showing so much wear). Now at 400k and just over 2 months the heel padding is down the backing and the treads look like other shoes would at 600 k+. I had heard these shoes do not last long but I thought that given I am a 120 lbs, not training for a marathon, and do not have not history of fast shoe wear - I thought I would be able to have them last at least through the summer (6 months). No other shoe I have owed has worn out the heels padding or treads like these. Sadly I now have to go buy new shoes. The HOKA warranty does not extend to Canadian ... Really too bad as the shoe was very comfortable but given that it has fallen apart at 400k I just think it is worth the relatively high cost compared to other brands.

I am very satisfied with the fit & feel of these Hoka’s. This is my first pair. A podiatrist had recommended them a while ago and this colorful model caught my eye. I had walked inside with them and today was my first walk outside. It felt like marshmallows hugging my feet. The soles are firm and supportive. Yummmmm :)! Recommend✅

Comfortable, but not durable especially for the price. I am a walker on gravel roads, not a hiker in the bush. I walk about 3 times a week, no more than 5km each time. . There have been times I haven't used these shoes at all, for long periods or if walking on the beach. I purchased these shoes in September, and as a non competitive casual walker I would have expected them to last longer - extremely disappointedWon't be buying again

The shoes were my second pair of Hokas; they fit well and were comfortable. The problem was in the color. The picture on line showed a dark red-orange, which I liked a lot, but the actual shoes were a terrifying shade of bright magenta. I regretted having to return them, but I was sure the color would make me feel self-conscious. BTW, the picture above shows the shoes in bluish grey, not the color in the original on-line photo or the color of the actual shoes.
I have been wearing the Speedgoat for many years now and this is the best version! If you're looking for a shoes that give you ample cushioning, yet lightweight and feels fast, you'll not go wrong with these. This version is much lighter than previous models and I especially like the tongue that is thoughtfully designed so it won't cut into my ankle. The color way is bright and striking, just the way I like it in the trails. Some folks have complained about these shoes being narrow, but it's perfect for me because I have narrow feet (please don't make it any wider than it is)! I have clocked well over 1000km in each of my previous 7-8 pairs of Speedgoats for my ultramarathons and backpacking, and I'm sure this version will last into the same mileages.
Fabulous trail runners and fun colour. These replaced my beloved Salomon's and I'm really happy with fit and function. The sole is reasonably wide to provide excellent stability with enough room out front for a pesky bunion (in this standard fitting) without being too wide). This is my first pair of Hoka's and I can see why they are so popular! Very comfortable, no pressure points or any breaking in required.
I love these. I have a lot of foot problems and these feel really good on my feet. They are great for high arches and plantar fasciitis. I use them for walking on trails because I'm not a runner and I am really happy with them so far. Highly recommend. Bought an 8 which is my normal size. Nice, wide toe box.
I absolutely love these running shoes for walking on the trails. This winter I ordered the speedgoat 5 mid GTX boot and had to go with the men’s 8.5 since the women’s 9.5 was just a little too small and the 10 was way too big. Loved them so much I decided to order the low model for summer. So for these I decided to try the 9.5 wide which are perfect (I do not have a wide foot) the fit is exactly like the men’s regular 8.5. They are so comfortable, light and plush. Feels like walking on marshmallows. My bad knees are happy. This is my first year of trying hokas and so far I’m really liking the feel of these although I did notice when I went shopping with them and was standing still in one position for a long time, my feet started to hurt. So these are definitely meant for moving. If you’re thinking of using for work, standing all day don’t by this model of Hokas. I absolutely love the colour which is exactly like pictured and get lots of compliments. Some reviews complain on the thin tongue, but I actually really like it as there’s no digging in, which can sometimes cause pain. For comparison, I have the Arc’teryx Aerios FL shoe and the speedgoats 5 are way more comfortable and cost less. Can’t wait to heal my rib injury so I can start running in these!! I’m now a hoka fan!!😁
This is my fifth pair of Hoka's--got a pair of Clifton's for work (Nurse), and then the Ora Recovery Slide & Bondi 7s for pregnancy & work, and then the Clifton Edge for road running, but this is my first ever Hoka trail running shoe and wow am I ever impressed. Being familiar with Hoka I had great expectations, and they were surpassed. This shoe fits my foot perfectly, excellent & amazing cushion, the grip is beyond, and I love how the rocker design propels me in to my next step.I really like the colourway, especially since I usually buy the men's version of sneakers as their colours are usually nicer than the women's, but the women's colour options are great. This has been the perfect shoe for trail running, especially the more rugged trails we live near and ... I have been wearing Hoka for a few years. The Speedgoat 5 is one of the best styles Hoka has to offer. The tread grips slippery rocks and sand while not too stiff while running. I will be in a full run down uneven trails and these shoes are agile, supportive and stable. The Speedgoat 5s r a clear upgrade from the 4 (thank u Hoka). My only reason to take off a star is longevity. The support / material under ball of foot starts breaking down at around 100 miles, which isn’t great for an advertised running shoe over $150. I have recommended this style to several fellow hikers (who do slightly less mileage, and all love the speedgoat 5.
