Hoka, please bring back the Arahi 6s! The 7s are a very sorry excuse for a running shoe. I have a number of foot sensitivities that make it hard to find a shoe that does not cause foot pain. I found relief in the Arahi 6s. No more pain! I was at my most active. I wore them for 3 years. When I tried the 7s, I was in disbelief. As someone with very narrow feet, the toebox was incredibly cramped. The heel drop was aggressive. I ultimately have had to switch brands altogether, but have still not found a replacement that comes close to the 6s. Why change what worked so well? Please bring the 6s back or at the least, let customers place a special order for the 6s. I have debilitating foot pain and have little recourse going forward because of the 7s.

I had to buy these shoes, because Hoka ruined the design of the Gaviota style. I have worn at least 100 pair of the Gaviota Style from style #1- almost every day since the #1"s came out. I changed them out once a month. The new Gaviota Style is a disaster. They look, and feel, like clown shoes. They widened the toe to make every shoe a wide shoe - even if you do not want wide shoes. They are a trip hazard. They ruined the design of the perfect shoe. It is worse than New Coke. I bought the Arahi 7 as a substitute, and they have ruined all of my socks. They are not as comfortable as the previous Gaviota Style, and they ruin your socks. All of my socks have turned black and purple. This went back s soon as I received it - same day! I was sad b/c I heard so many positive things about this brand - guess this style was not for my feet. It has been recommended by orthopedic surgery and physical therapy that I wear shoes with high support when exercising because of this. I have tried several versions of Hoka - the bondi and rincon both are too neutral/soft for what I need. Those shoes are great for wearing at work since I’m on my feet most of the day, however I struggle with pain in my heel/Achilles after a workout in them. The Arahi fits the bill for what I need - lots of support. I use this shoe for cross training and power walking/jogging. I love HOKA products but this one was underwhelming. I deal with chronic back pain and plantar fasciitis. When my shoes begin to break down, my knees start to hurt and that's when I know it's time for a new pair. I was excited to receive these, I'm a nurse so on my feet all the time. For the first half of my shift, I was doing well, no pain in my knees. But then my feet started aching and my knees were hurting by the time I went home. These shoes are very stiff, have no extra give in the soles. I have bought 3 pairs of shoes in the last 3 weeks, all different brands, and these work the worst for me. Very disappointed. I am giving 3 stars because they are very attractive and just because they don't work for me doesn't mean they won't work for someone else.
I'm new to Hoka. In the past I've worn Brook's Adrenaline GTS and New Balance 860. I have super wide feet and have been looking for a replacement for the New Balance 860 since they redesigned to ~Fresh Foam~ and narrowed the toe box.My feet: Typically 8.5W, pretty wide feet, flat arches, some loose ankle issue, overpronaterFit: This shoe was narrow through the arch area but had a decent toe box, thought not the roomiest. Length was perfect. I appreciated the perfect, snug fit on my heel.Feel: At first it felt okay and springy. Got these shoes from Fleet Feet today and immediately took them for an indoor walk at the local rec center. There's nothing good about this shoe!I received the Ahari 6 as a gift in 2022. I was elated when I took my first walk in them. I finally found a shoe that actually had stability supporting my flat feet and pronation. I've bought a pair every 3 months since then and even purchase a pair of Bondis as a gift. That's how much confidence I had in the HOKA brand. When I went to place my last order, to my disappointment there was no Arahi 6. It's been my experience that whenever a shoe is undergoes a model change, the style is degraded and that's what has happened to the Arahi 7This shoe gives me the same stability, cushion and flexibility as it's precedessor. The Arahi 6 made me feel like I was walking on air.Please bring back the Arahi 6.
I have bought MANY different Hokas Mach X, Mach 6, Cliftons and Bondi's, Kawana, Skyward X and they are always size 8 and fit beautiful/perfect. This is the first Hoka shoe that does not fit. My mom got an older style of Arahi that she loves, so i thought I would give it a try to buy for her, she and I wear the same size 8 in Hoka. This particular shoe runs MUCH narrow .
