The reason I ordered this formula is that there is nothing like this on the market in the US without questionable ingredients. Corn or soy is always present in US formulas and lots of sugar. This formula has maltodextrin and palm oil which I am not thrilled about, but it is better than corn. Also, it does not foam like US brands and is not so sweet. We transitioned in about three days. It gives a bit of constipation for now, but we are still transitioning- day six on Holle. I also got some rashes, which we are watching closely. One package will last us about 3.5 days, so two per week.

We wanted some formula as backup in case I run into trouble breastfeeding my baby. This stuff is definitely a higher quality than American brands. We gave the baby a tiny bit to test if she liked it and she took to it immediately. I’m subtracting a start because my husband ordered a box and the expiration date was 5 months out instead of the promised 6 (a problem for us since we are storing for emergencies). They offered him a free replacement box but we had to pay for shipping (sort of annoying since it wasn’t our mistake and we didn’t get what we expected-why do you have to pay extra to correct someone else’s mistake?). Anyway. Great formula if you aren’t worried about expiration dates.

It was so hard to find a formula that didn’t mess with my little guy’s insides. He had a hard time keeping other formulas down and when I looked at the ingredients of sensitive stomach formulas in the US I was blown away by the ingredients. Holle Goat Milk Formula was suggested to us by a friend and it has been nothing short of amazing. Blends so much better than other formulas too! No nasty chunks or smell. Highly recommend!
I originally wanted to breastfeed my baby only. So when the doctor told me I had to supplement with formula I was devastated. I started researching formulas fast. We finally decided to try this one out because it didn’t have as many preservatives in it and contained cow milk. We are very happy with our decision and have continued to use for supplemental purposes. It mixes extremely well and if you order a case of 6 it gets shipped pretty fast considering it is coming from overseas.
My baby is breastfed mostly but when I’m not there I wanted a good formula that he can tolerate well. He has tried a few different formulas and I could not find one that he didn’t cry from. Then my friend recommended this formula and this has fo be one of my favorites. My baby seems to enjoy it the most. Less spit up, less fussiness & he is not as gassy as he was on other formulas. Will be purchasing again.
I did my fair share of research on formulas and Holle was the winner. Not only is it all organic and safer than all American formulas but it’s so close to breast milk. When I was weaning my son off of breastmilk I would give him two ounces of breast milk in one bottle and two ounces of Holle in another. You couldn’t tell the difference between the two. Holle is thin like breast milk which makes it easy for baby to digest. He has no gas, constipation, or acid reflux issues. He is now 3 months old and strictly on Holle and gaining weight like a champ. I highly recommend Holle and my organic company to everyone. They always have product which is essential during this formula shortage and they have quick shipping.
We have only been using it for a few weeks. First time baby has used formula and first time mom and dad have used formula. First two kids were exclusively breastfed.Our almost seven week old is taking four feeds a day when this and the other four are breastmilk. She is still gassy and fussy at times but we are not sure if that’s her age, the formula, or breastmilk. Her stools have slowed down since adding more formula and she has trouble with gas, but not sure it’s the formula or swallowing air from bottle feeding. I have more peace of mind knowing the ingredients are better than other formulas out there But I am curious as to if the goats milk version or the A2 version, or even Hippe would have been easier.
I can’t complain baby came early at 36.5 weeks and had to spend some time in the intensive care nursery.Like any mom I was devestated and he needed formula to increase his blood sugar.When I found out that the formula used number ingredient was sugar it made me so upset and I decided I’d rather spend whatever I had to better food for my baby. He has tolerated holle bio 1 well since first week of birth. I am happy to have options that are healthier. The customer service this store has been impeccable. They answer you faster than any US localMarket and they give you real advice.I am glad to have found them through a referral of a NP at the hospital.
I ended up having to supplement with my daughter as I didn't produce enough breast milk. This formula is SO MUCH BETTER than the junk they sell in the US. It even LOOKS better. It is whiter powder, not clumpy, and doesn't get as frothy as US formula when mixing a bottle. Much better tolerated by my babes gut too. I am thankful for this formula company. Crazy to think that we have to get this imported from overseas because the US won't sell/regulate it.....
