An average product. Their fittings are absolute worthless as they leak and burst out due to water pressure. Also, what annoyed me most was their de-boxing video that are useful only to experts and not suitable for beginners. You got to show every single part while fixing to help your customers. If you buy fittings from other companies, the pipe in itself is good - works well.

It’s crap don’t bother, hose kinked where it connects to reel, so no water unless fully extended. Crank wouldn’t take any strain when winding. Took it back the same day and bunnings refunded me.

Bought this to water a small terrace. The hose is bad quality and kinks easily, plus the reel is difficult to put together I ended up giving up and buying something else.

Bought this to water a small terrace. The hose is bad quality and kinks easily, plus the reel is difficult to put together I ended up giving up and buying something else.
Unfortunately I bought this product before reading the reviews which rate it at 2.3, which I think is generous. The product is poorly designed. The winding handle is way too small to get any sort of mechanical advantage. The hose connection at the axle causes the hose to kink and therefore restricts the water flow. The surrounding plastic inner drum has extremely sharp edges which caused me to cut one of my fingers whilst connecting the hose. The whole unit is flimsy and does nor rotate smoothly when you finally get enough pressure on the handle to rotate it. I saw the name Holman and I wrongfully thought this would be a good product as I have bought many good Holman products over the years.
This product is absolute rubbish. It comes with a card of fittings, but once you try to put it together you still need to purchase a couple of extra fittings (why not include them all??). The fitting on the end of the hose is so poorly manufactured it does not spray in the pattern intended. The fitting space from hose to inside the reel is so small it squashes the hose. It’s actually not fit for purpose. If I could give this zero stars I would. PS: also bought Holman sprinklers at the same time and they are the same poor quality. I will never buy this brand again.
Very poor quality. Even though it's cheap it should still work properly. Hose gets kinked where it connects so only flows when full unwound. Very hard to wind up. Handle very flimsy and I'm hoping it'll finally break so I can return it. Buy a watering can instead.
Absolute rubbish. Returned immediately after the struggles of impossible retracting of the hose, won't retract in or out, reel will just spin and no hose movement. How does such a product get approval for sale. Waste of time purchasing this rubbish and waste of time having to return it. Do yourself a favour and avoid this crap like the plague, good for absolutely noting, zero stars
Where do I begin. The inner connection for the hose does not allow enough room for the connection, hence you bend the hose.You have to 2 extra connectors as they don't supply it. To me, this is a "not fit for purpose" product as its missing key components. Obviously, trying to keep the price low! Fiddle to wind up the hose, not a large enough reel for ease of use. Save yourself some trouble, buy something a bit more expensive.
I bought this knowing it was limited but cheap. I want to put out 3 lots of sprinklers all at once from different taps. Will do the job. Cost effectively. As a hose reel it’s a bit limited. Hard to wind up. It also didn’t really have all the fittings I needed. Had to buy a couple more.
bought 4 months ago for my ageing mother for her small unit. poor fittings, hard to assemble, cannot wind out without needing 2 people, cannot wind in without kinks.Hose has burst in numerous places. This product is the best example of land fill waste I have ever seen
